Anyone in the Navy?

I’m just curious if anyone else is in the Navy and can share their experiences with deployment. In 2015,  We left Norfolk, VA  and proceeded in order to Portsmouth, England, Mediterranean Sea, Suez  Canal, Dubai, Bahrain, back and forth between Dubai and Bahrain a handful of times, then Singapore, then Hawaii and finally San Diego finishing our circumnavigation of the world.

My best friend is a Quartermaster and was responsible for a lot of Navigation. Also time zones. I would call my wife every other day and either I would be ahead or behind in time (every so often we would advance our clocks one hour, eventually reaching the international date line, thus being behind).

I’m just curious to what flat earthers think about this. I’m not trying to prove a point. It’s just curiosity.

Hey, shipmate. US Naval aviation for 8 years (commissioned O). Reservist since.

Never got to Europe or the Med. Was  NorPac/WestPac/IO only with one trip around the South American horn.

Not a flat earth guy, btw; but best advice I can offer is to lurk for awhile and get a feel for the place.
