So, an illegitimate "special prosecutor" introduces a bald-faced lie to the court:
https://www.theepochtimes.com/us/trump-says-jack-smith-should-be-arrested-after-documents-revelation-5644083?utm_source=RTNews&src_src=RTNews&utm_campaign=rtbreaking-2024-05-05-2&src_cmp=rtbreaking-2024-05-05-2&utm_medium=email&est=AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa%2BcidhsJxcPN%2FrQut3NAH7F5ww0LIzwgbOIBKcVOYUPVwjDotRvn

Wait... OMG!
Wait...OMG!

You mean Trump is being prosecuted for mishandling classified documents, yet the lead prosecutor's office is allowed to freely mishandle the same documents?
I'm not sure the article you posted would agree.
I'm not sure YOU would agree.  Unless you think putting objects back in teh same box but not the exact same configuration is "mishandling".
The conviction will get overturned on appeal.

I am sure you are not sure.

I am sure submitting a false report of the order of contents of a box to a US District Court judge in a trial concerning the mishandling of documents is mishandling documents.
To be honest I am getting pretty bored of this place.

It's a complete non-issue, just another example of Trump doing anything he can to delay or end the trial.

That he actually seems to think this is something to be taken seriously indicates a severe case of TDS on Action80's part, poor guy.  :(

I am sure you are not sure.

Is the order relevant to the charges?
No.

Therefore its not relevant and not mishandling.  And if this is Trump legal defence, he really has none.
The conviction will get overturned on appeal.

No.Yes.
FTFY.
Why?
Which of the charges relates to the order or position of the documents inside the box?
The conviction will get overturned on appeal.

Yes, it's almost as if one party in this case is doing everything they can to keep delaying this trial until the election in the hopes of winning the presidency and making all their legal problems go away. I wonder who it could be?

Jack Smith is such a total fuck up, the judge cannot even decide when to begin the trial.

https://www.theepochtimes.com/us/judge-delays-trump-documents-trial-wont-set-new-date-5645658?utm_source=RTNews&src_src=RTNews&utm_campaign=rtbreaking-2024-05-07-5&src_cmp=rtbreaking-2024-05-07-5&utm_medium=email&est=AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa%2BcidhsJxcPN%2FrQut3NAH7F5ww0LIzwgbOIBKcVOYUPVwjDotRvn

Two more weeks.

Considering all the hearings are motions from the defence that the judge decided to grant, likely because she's a Trump lover, I disagree that he 'fucked up'.

of course the president should be absolutely above the law, that's exactly the idea this country was founded on

Yes, it's almost as if a bunch of fascists want to decry and eliminate due process within US courts.

I wonder who it could be?

Again, I still don't understand exactly how wanting someone who has been charged with multiple crimes to have their day in court is wanting to "eliminate due process;" much less how having that same person entirely avoid having their day in court by being elected president and then abusing their office to make their legal problems go away is totally fine.

This won't hurt him. His popularity and support is going to skyrocket after this and he will win in November. Bigly.

I don't know about that. Certainly the cult members will just become more entrenched in their position that he's the messiah rather than a very naughty boy, it plays in to the narrative that the powers that be are out to get him (which I suspect is mostly true, but it's also true that Trump's behaviour has given them plenty of ammo).
But it may give people in the "anyone but Biden" camp pause.
Overall I still feel he probably will win the election, but I don't think his support will skyrocket - it will just make his cult following dig their heels in more.
