Mask are physical, three-dimensional objects. If he were wearing a mask - and not just a thin layer of material, but a mask that's substantial enough to make him look like a different person - you would be able to see the bulge or swelling where it begins. It wouldn't be so perfectly flush with his neck that you could only tell he was wearing a mask by the difference in skin tones.

What's actually happening here are just shadows. The interviewer has something similar going on with his neck in the full video, but you can tell a bit more easily that it's shadows with him.
It is obvious there are different tones.

You are being disingenuous in your post.

What's actually happening here is this video shows somebody made up to be Joe Biden.
To be honest I am getting pretty bored of this place.

Yes, using CGI. Its not a mask.  Masks are stupid in this day and age.
The conviction will get overturned on appeal.

Yes, the tone is different, and only the tone. That's why he's not wearing a mask. We would be able to see a bigger physical difference between the mask and the skin if he he were wearing one. Masks take up physical space. They don't become part of the skin. And again, you can see the same thing with the interviewer. Presumably you don't think he's wearing a mask too.

Holy shit. Is there seriously no-one who could convince Biden to stand down and get someone credible to stand?
Almost anyone would beat Trump, the Democrats are literally putting the one person up against him who won't.

Last night was Sleepy Joe at his sleepiest. Sad! But yeah, I think the writing's on the wall for the election now. The Democrats won't replace Biden unless he asks for it, and he won't.

Biden was so bad last night that he told women their sister might rape them, and that isn't even in the top 20 trending things he said or did.

"a lot of young women being raped by their in-laws, by their spouses, brothers & sisters"

So basically he was acting like Trump?

I'm glad Republicans are finally getting serious about enforcing gun control.

Yes, it is untrue that "a lot of young women" are being raped by their sisters. I suspect that he forgot his complete line of thought in his sentence and just started listing random family members associated with a person.

It is untrue.
And it’s exactly the sort of bullshit Trump comes out with routinely.
And you lap it up like the hood cult member you are. Or maybe you know he’s full of shit and just don’t care.
Biden is clearly not fit for office. But it’s equally clear that Trump isn’t either.
People outside the US - and probably many in the US - can’t believe that one of those men is going to be president for the next 4 years.
The options in the UK are depressing but they are at least physically and mentally fit to do the job.

I guess it depends on how you define "a lot". Many of the issues affecting "a lot" of Americans (as used by American politicians) tend to affect a miniscule proportion of the population.

...
I'll push back very slightly on that.  Trump is indeed unfit as his only concern is himself.  He would be a disaster for the entire planet let alone the US.
Given the constant presence of a large support staff, Biden might be able to do the job for another 4 years despite his feebleness.  But whether that is true or not doesn't really matter as his horrid debate performance likely has made him unelectable so he has got to go.  Our only hope is if Biden steps aside ASAP, but I fear that's a longshot.
The contents of the GPS NAV message is the time of transmission and the orbital location of the transmitter at that time. If the transmitters are not where they claim to be GPS would not work.  Since it does work the transmitters must in fact be in orbit, which means the earth is round.

I said on here previously that were I in the US and had a vote I'd feel I had to go with Trump because of Biden's mental state.
I've now come to the view that whoever is elected it will be the people around them that do a lot of the heavy lifting. That being the case, I'd rather the people around Biden were in power than the people around Trump.
I don't know if you say John Oliver's piece about it this week but it sounds like the Trump team are far more geared up to push their agenda from day 1 this time and it could be disastrous.

There must be people around him who could have a quiet word and gently tell them that he needs to step aside for the good of the party and the country. It seems like his inner circle are in denial and just reinforcing his belief that he's still up to it. The Democrats are sleepwalking into certain defeat. It's so obvious it makes my head spin that they're not doing anything about it. The only vague silver lining is there's still a long time till the election so Biden could recover from this but I can't see how he's going to suddenly perform better in the next 5 months. Trump might spout endless lies but he does so confidently which is all that seems to matter to a lot of people.

Biden has his good days and his bad days, as you'd expect from someone his age. The problem isn't necessarily that Biden is incapable of doing well in a debate, but that he won't have the opportunity to show he can until September, and by then, his performance in the first debate will already be permanently ingrained in many Americans' minds.

It is untrue.
And it’s exactly the sort of bullshit Trump comes out with routinely.
And you lap it up like the hood cult member you are. Or maybe you know he’s full of shit and just don’t care.

The difference is, though, Trump's fans don't want or expect logical policy proposals or coherent political positions from him. What Trump's fans love about him are the entertainment and the very broad and vaguely-defined resentment he indulges in. Whether or not the things he says are true or even make sense aren't a big part of the equation. What matter are the vibes. Trump could tell his fans a bonkers story about him wrestling purple elephants on Uranus and they would cheer for him as enthusiastically as ever as long as they got the impression that the elephants were part of the system keeping him - and by extension, them - down.

I'm not saying it's fair. It's deeply unfair that one candidate is a serious politician whose words are scrutinized and the other is a clown whose fans want and expect to spew nonsense. But it's the reality. Trump and Biden simply aren't in the same business.

We have a two-party system where each party nominates one candidate. Wanting the party to nominate a different candidate does not mean anyone is opposed to free and fair elections.

Indeed. I wasn’t sure that Action’s “if she weighs the same as a duck then she’s made of wood and therefore a witch” level of illogical non sequitur really deserved a response.

It’s perfectly logically consistent to believe Biden is the lesser of two evils and believe that the Democrats really should be finding a better candidate.

Jesus...How stupid do the people within the party need to be to ignore the alarm bells from day-fucking-one concerning this real-life Herbert?

You can try to peddle that nonsense somewhere else, Saddam.
