Still stoked?

Messi and Ronaldo, going home.
Just to be clear, you are all terrific, but everything you say is exactly what a moron would say.

Messi and Ronaldo, going home.

Sad, but very stoked. Great matches today.

New fave 5:

Argentina  Mexico
Switzerland
Portugal England
Belgium
Brazil (if they beat Mexico)

Good grief. Neutrals liking England. This is unprecedented.

I have to say I felt sorry for the Japanese, I thought they had it for a while but Belgium are through.

I was sad for them. 2-0 up and the stadium was full of happy Jappys. The Belgians are a miserable race of people. I thought the Japanese played very well, but it was just a matter of time before the Belgians figured out they are about a foot taller and started pinging crosses in box for Lukaku and Fellani. I thought Japan's nippy little striker was good. Held the ball up well. Shame, I'd have liked to see them play more.

No fully understand Rama, I hate the England he represents.

Junker! Not Brazil, not after Neymars histrionics no amount of skill is compensation for having that brat on the field.

Did you see the atrocity? Quite frankly, I don't know how he survived, much less continued the match. Can you fathom the agony of being lightly stepped on? On of the "spikes" may have caressed his muscle to the point of slight discomfort. I am just thankful the medics didn't have to cart him off to have a whole battery of tests done. Maybe after you see the x-ray and MRI you will understand want Neymar went through.

I find this very weird behaviour.

As a top footballer, the bulk of your earnings isn't your massive wages. Its actually image rights. And that's the image you are projecting to the world?

Sport lends itself to sponsorship easily because you can piggyback the virtue of sportsman and the qualities they represent. Sportsmanship, bravery, courage, skill, teamwork. It is aspirational. What is Neymar projecting? Lying, cheating, fakery, deception. I'm not sure I'd want my brand associated with those qualities. I wonder if it won't hit him in the pocket in the long term.
