32.17 ft/sec^2 x 365 days/yr x 24 hrs/day x 60 min/hr x 60 sec/min / 5280 ft/mile = 192e3 mile/sec
So 353/365 x 192e3 ~ 186e3 ~ c

It's not your weight. When you're touching the ground you don't feel like you're constantly accelerating upwards.

Also, if the earth is moving upwards at about 9,8m/s2, meaning that every second its speed increases by 9,8m/s, the speed of the earth going upwards would just get bigger and bigger and at one point reach the speed of light and even go beyond.

Anyway, with SR you can accelerate constantly forever and never reach c (you will asymptotically approach c). I am not sure why you would invoke Newtonian mechanics for this. Someone with grad-level knowledge of relativity would certainly understand.

They simply take into account the velocity and weight of the projectile.

It was already explained to you that this is not even remotely the case. Read up on Special Relativity.

I have had grad level physics courses in relativity.  If the earth is moving up as asserted at 32.17 ft/sec^2 you would reach c in 353 days.  The earth is older.
So either you stop at c and lose gravity or exceed c.

You need to get educated on basic Newtonian mechanics

If the ground gave way you would fall
In an accelerating upward elevator does your weight increase?
Would not the same occur on an upward accelerating earth vs a stationary or constant velocity one?

hog wash like the moon landing. A helo hovering for 1 hr. would have the earth pass under them when in fact they stay in exact spot as liftoff. No ordinance aloft for 5 seconds is going to move crap except from wind and rotation of projectile. Thank you for creating an alt to help me understand more fake science.

For your helo scenario to be true the air would have to be stationary since it supports the helo
And the earth moving 1000 mph

The air moves with the earth, gravity assures that

The Paris gun had to compensate for earth rotation
It had a flight time of ~180 sec
The earth moved 0.28 mi/sec x 180 or 50 miles at equator

Well, I just thought of 2 things.

1- If the earth is really going up and pushing the air with it, wouldn't we have a much more concentrated layer of air at the surface of the earth?

2- If earth was indeed going upwards at about 9,8m/s2, we would feel it. We would feel no difference if the earth was not moving or if it was going up at a constant speed, but with an acceleration we would definitely feel it.

One argument used to dismiss the earth orbiting the sun is that it is ridiculous to assume the earth is moving ~18.4 mi/sec

Centrifugal force cannot be the reason that water sticks to the surface of the Earth, as the Earth is a sphere. Centrifugal Force is a two-dimensional vector. For your theory to be correct, the Earth would have to be rotating in every single direction at exactly the same time, in perfect unison. Otherwise, there would be no water at the geographical north and south poles. I did not say that the Earth's gravity was caused by density, I said it was the product of mass. Since the Earth's center of mass is at it's center, the Earth is a sphere, and all matter tends to follow the curvature of space-time, the Earth's gravity points toward it's center, and everything falls downward relative to us.

It is an example of cent force overcoming gravity.

In Naval artillery aiming charts the compensate for curvature of the earth.
Did they do this to maintain the globe conspiracy?  Seems like al lot of work.  And if used would make you miss the target!?

Unless they told all involved don't use it it's only for 'show'.  But wouldn't they expose the 'lie'?  10,000's would know for decades from many nations?

The standard model of Special Relativity allows for continual acceleration without reaching c. Frames of reference and lack of absolute coordinates.

If we discard SR due to experimental evidence which seems to contradict it, then there is no speed limit.

It's not really a problem either way.
If v can't exceed c then a must approach 0, no gravity

If it can we would be traveling age of earth in years x c
v = a t
t is increasing
v = c
a = constant 32.2
So at t = 353 days a must go to 0 for v to be limited to c

No gravity is a problem

Conservation of momentum
If v is limitless, ie limit to infinity and
p = m v
Mass limit goes to 0 for p to be constant
Or the rest of the system must lose p
On top of that kinetic energy
E = 1/2 m v^2 would increase faster
It would consume all energy in the universe or creat some lol

Both cases are a problem

You're in the wrong place for this. Practically nobody here believes that density is a suitable explanation for the sensation of gravity. This is also why our other newcomer friend has no idea what you're talking about.

I'd recommend that you familiarise yourself with the basics, starting with the FAQ and Wiki, as originally advised in READ BEFORE POSTING: Welcome to Flat Earth Theory!

So what do you attribute g to?
Can't be the fe's mass or it would be non-uniform over its surface.
Is it the earth being accelerated towards another much larger mass?  Or just accelerating thru a gravity field?  Or the earth is stationary and the field is moving over the earth?

Mass m in this case = W (lb)/g in slugs
And a = g ~32 ft/sec^2
g cancels so F = W

You start by saying weight is a force, and end up stating weight is a force (W=F). Obviously.

Where does density come into the equation? The weight changes because the acceleration changes. When you are accelerating in earth's gravity field, your acceleration is added to the gravitational acceleration of the earth. That has nothing to do with density. Your error is where you say a=g. That is only true if you are not accelerating. When you are accelerating with an acceleration of x, the equation becomes a=g+x.

A basic calculation will show why.
Assume horizon is ~5 miles away standing on the shore.
Field of view ~ 115 degree or ~ 16 miles. This is an arc length assuming a globe of r = 4000 mi.

Angle=16/(2 Pi 4000) x 360 = 0.22918312 deg

Calculate the chord (flat line) between the arc's end points.
c = 2 x r x sin(ang/2) = 15.99998933 miles flat/line
vs 16 arc
or 0.00006667% difference

The human eye can't resolve/discern this difference. Ever see a picture hung crooked? Lol
Hence it looks flat or level.
