When you check the wiki and other answers to this question when it has been asked the answer tends to be that they are faked.

He did use the word "stars"

"When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained;"

So forget this planet stuff. The sun and moon are lights, one for day and one for night. Yes they are round and appear flat since we see only one side.

Isn't it convenient that when god created the universe he was good enough to speak English.....especially as the people who wrote his words down didn't speak it, in fact no-one on earth at that time would have understood the bible words you just quoted.........highlights the futility of trying to use the bible as proof of anything other than what MANKIND at the time wanted people to believe.

I was looking through some of the other threads with quotes from the scriptures and I thought hang on a minute!! Now these were reputedly words from God, remembered then written down later by various people at different times. This all took place in the Middle East thousands of years ago and were then translated from the original languages into various languages, Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic etc. The new testament was written down, again from passed on stories in various languages and sometimes many years after the events. Early English translations were in the 14 Century and there have been many alterations and variations since the first translations, with the longest and most adopted version being the second King James Bible. So which version is J-Man quoting from and has he seen the original manuscripts and can confirm from his own knowledge of the original languages, that each word of the layers of translation is actually correct? Has he indeed actually heard the word of God?

Haha Roger, I think J-man hears the words of J-man! Same problems exist with any biblical references; who are they actually quoting? Probably not the real creator of the universe!
