E3 2015

Was there anything announced that you're interested in? Personally, I'm excited for Xbone backwards compatibility later this year. I'll be having a Mass Effect marathon for sure. Also, Nintendo's puppet show was pretty sweet.

Fallout 4.

Nintendo's offering was pretty damn weak this time. Who the hell thought Metroid prime: Federation Force was a good idea?

They release most of their news through Nintendo Directs as far as I know. I was surprised they even came to e3 at all. I thought the puppet show was pretty radical though.

They didn't come to E3, they did a Nintendo Direct presentation. They just had some demos on the E3 floor and all, as is the norm.

Also Metroid Prime: Federation Force looks really fun, I just wish they hadn't presented it under the Metroid moniker. I was so excited. :[

The highlight for me is, obviously, The Legend of Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes, because obviously.

I'm excited for fallout, dishonored, and battlefront.
That's how far the horizon is, not how far you can see.

I was interested in Battlefront until they confirmed no space battles, Rebellion era factions only and BF4-esque small arenas. No point buying a game that's a step down from the previous iteration.

Yeah, the more I hear about the new Battlefront, the less I'm interested.

Basically, I just want them to update the first game, give us some new maps, new units, space battles, and Galactic Conquest. Oh, and the option to turn off heroes. Ideally, they should aim to give us huge, sprawling battlefields, instead of the tight, cramped set-piece battles of Number 2.

The new battlefront has a lack of features because idiots will buy it anyway and then pay extra for the DLC. Might as well just keep paying the old one, which still has a small but dedicated online community.

I thought games objectively improved over time, though.

Mass Effect Andromeda
Fallout 4
Horizon Zero Dawn - I'm pretty upset this will only be on PS4. :(

Yeaah, about that. I really want to play it, but it looks weird and there wasn't much Disney gameplay. Just some random characters I don't care about playing some kind of chess game and then Sora running about in a generic environment. So I'm not sure how excited I am for it yet.

But yes, technically I'm still interested. I'm interested in seeing new trailers.

You think Xehanort and Eraqus are random characters? Your lore knowledge is despicable.

Also it pretty obviously had scenes from at least the Disney Hercules and Tangled franchises. The entire series has moved away from Disney in general, though. Probably in response to their fan base getting older.

How the hell was I supposed to know that's bb Xehanort? I don't even know who Eraqus is. The lore is so awful.

So they're moving away from Disney, which you are never too old for, to generic shitty JRPG? I hate what they've done to this game. I was hoping all the awful lore and anti-Disney shiz would stay to the handheld games.
But you are just so darn adorable for being excited for this.

He is the only character with those crazy orange eyes. It even explicitly zooms in on his eyes to show this. How could you not know who he was?

Don't fool yourself. Kingdom Hearts has always been generic JRPG.

Wow, then I don't understand the story line or characters at all.

Yes, but it also had Disney, which made it better than generic. So if it gets rid of that then it's terrible.
