NASA's new spacesuit: It's happening
« on: May 02, 2014, 06:48:21 PM »

"NASA's" new spacesuit is straight up science fiction looking. More evidence that they're a puppet organization. Obvious fakery going on here. What do you think?

Why have they got them holding drills like guns? And why do they need to glow in the dark?

Basically being an astronaut is akin to being a deep sea salvage diver. And you don't see those guys getting excited about novel chevron usage.

I imagine they're trying to get people excited about space again. Having a lot of people interested in space tends to reflect well in your budget.

...Without having to spend any money.

You forgot that part. We can't go to space right now but until we get some money here's an artists impression of what a spaceman might look like IN THE FUTURE!!!!!!!! Woooo. Vote for your favourite now.

With all this "sanction Russia" business going on, I have a feeling NASA is going to get a lot more money. We can't have the Ruskies out-spacing us.

Maybe. But Russia is unlikely to need ICBMs to bomb Ukraine.

I guess the suits sort of like concept cars every company makes of their cars before settling on a final product and to get people excited about the car
1 in 10 suicides apparently could be stopped if someone smiled or made the person happy for a minute so its my goal in life to make as many people as happy as possible...also QUEENSLANDER!!!!

I prefer the 'bio suit' concept which was launched either last year or the year before:

One potential problem with the MIT bio suit is that the performance of such a tight, form fitting suit can be significantly affected by the astronaut gaining or losing just a few pounds.
