As if Pardisfla would accept code from my fucking ass. I'd drop in a hidden cockshit easter egg.
We're not John Davis.
Further, if SMF is so fucking horrible as you describe (which I don't doubt and will be having a look at the code later) why did you go with it in the first place?
Originally, it was for the sake of familiarity. We wanted to offer our users an easy transition to a forum that's pretty much the same as the one they were leaving, except better. Also, I don't know about Parsifal, but personally I didn't expect it to be quite as bad as it turned out to be. I expected issues, but I also expected core functionality to work out of the box. And nowadays, there's no longer any need to switch. As PARDISFLA pointed out, we've resolved most pressing issues.
Most outstanding matters are functionality requests, which we'd have to deal with one way or another. It might be easier to deal with them under a different CMS, you'd also have to account for the cost of getting said CMS to work the way we want. That would be a one-off, but it'd be a pretty big one, and we couldn't even know for sure if what we're switching to is better.
[I] will be having a look at the code later
Enjoy.
