Has any one been to Hawaii? Stood in the beach and looked out to the horizon? Have you climbed a volcano and then done the same thing? Why can you see further on the volcano than from the beach? If the earth is flat you should be able to see the same distance from the beach as from the volcano? I don’t know how to explain this.
