Of course you meant, once again, to say the irresponsibility of men. Either that or you're simply a sexist who thoroughly enjoys the patriarchy that the U.S. has always been and seems to be heading even further to being.
Men are already responsible. If a woman decides to have the baby, the man is responsible to support it by law and can't walk away. The man is sentenced to 18 years of labor to support the child. When a man complains the societal response is "Your fault, pay up!"
If the woman decides not to have the baby, she can do so without repercussion. She is not held to the same standards to be compelled to support her baby and can choose to kill it and escape responsibility.
Care to actually discuss what you said. You were 100% blaming the woman for being "irresponsible" and getting pregnant. It had nothing to do with legal responsibilities afterward. Your statement was wholly to say that it is the woman's fault she's pregnant. This isn't the first time you've said it. Nice try at deflecting and trying to say it was about something else.

This explains all of the inconsistencies and difficulties in interpretation, while being perfectly consistent with a supernatural deity who created all of us and everything around us.
I feel like I agree with this, but I also can’t help but feel like there are elements in the Bible that are there only to benefit people in positions of power. There are too many things left out in not the OT and NT for it to be just the attempts of a few people to describe and catalog their brushes with the divine.

You can’t make laws based on the skills of the more competent and reasonable parts of the population unfortunately. If you raise the speeds of the average of the flow of traffic, you raise the speed of the average impact.
I spend a lot of time on the road and while I’d agree that many posted limits are on the conservative side. Spiking them up too far would have some very notable consequences.
People just aren’t smart enough (or at least they overestimate their own skills - something like 80% of drivers think they’re better than average) to reliably adjust their habits based on traffic volume, weather, road conditions, and construction/workers on roadsides.

That’s funny because the highest posted speed limits I’m aware of in North America are 80mph. 80 seems plenty fast even on a continent this size and an interstate highway that smooth. Still took like 6 hours to cross Montana though :/

I was a bit worried Vasy was going to go full eyes-wide-open-goalie-robot- mode and steal the series, but very glad the Avs got it done. The defensive shutdown they put together in that third period was incredible.
