How do satellites work?
« on: June 10, 2018, 10:24:06 PM »
I'm curious how the flat earth belief accounts for satellites. Do they exist? If so what keeps them in the sky? If not, how do cell phones work? Thank you.

Cell phones don’t use satellites. They use ground stations.

Also, if you haven't heard of bronies before, that reflects poorly on your understanding of the world that surrounds you. It's practically impossible not to know about them.

Dishes use satellites, cable uses cable. I would suggest searching the forum, there are a few posts that claim that sat tv do not actually use satellites. It is up to you if you believe the claims......

There's no such thing as "dish cable". If you have a dish, you're using the satellite. If you have cable, you are hard-wired to a cable network.

Satellites are used for, amongst other things;

Earth Observation
Weather mapping
General communications
News-gathering and outside broadcast
Fleet tracking
Domestic TV & radio broadcast
Telephone communication

Not Flat. Happy to prove this, if you ask me.

Nearly all flat earthers agree the earth is not a globe.

Nearly?
