Flat Earth Theory / Flat Earth Theory gravity
« on: April 18, 2019, 02:20:29 PM »
so i have observed that the general consensus on gravity on this forum is the plane is moving up at 9.81 meters per second which we observe as gravity

my question is on newtons first law, inertia, wouldn't we just normalize without gravity if inertia was true, as we would maintain the planes 9.81 meters per second when we jumped, as we where in motion and would still be in motion.

and it is not as if Newtons first law is not true as we observe it every day with balls and toy cars rolling until friction overcomes them.

at first i thought that the plane would be accelerating upwards, not just going up with a constant rate, but if you think about it the logistics the earth would be moving upwards at a rate well past the speed of light, and one of our main arguments is "we would feel it if we were on a 13,170,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 pound ball traveling at 67,000 miles per hour rotating at 1000 miles per hour", well we would feel it if we were going past the speed of light as well

I wan't to believe the earth is flat, I wan't the past couple of years of my life to have been worth it, but i just don't understand

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Distances on the Flat Earth Model
« on: April 17, 2019, 07:04:51 PM »
sadly you have not given much to work with but here could be some solutions to your problem, if you do not actually know the true distance to your Walmart measure it, you could do this by measuring two streets that make a right angle leading from your house to the Walmart, you can do this by rolling a wheel with a dash on it down both streets, then multiply both by the wheels circumference. You then calculate the hypotenuse. After that you can make your comparisons to the flat earth distance model.

please reply when you have properly measured the distances

Flat Earth Community / Re: Wiki: Occam's Razor and Burden of Proof

in my opinion, which i do not expect to be taken into much consideration seeing my low post number and recent join date, the occam's razor should be removed as it does not sound serious for several reasons

1.
it puts a limit on the abilities of government corporations with 20.7 billion dollars in funding without any real proof or examples on the limit of multi billion dollar company

2.
it relies on perspective and the word "seems" as in "the earth seems to move towards me", i don't see this convincing anyone that gravity doesn't exist, especially, again, without proof

while, again, i don't expect to be taken into consideration but that is my two sense if you took the time to read it

Flat Earth Theory / Re: question about sun in dome model
« on: April 16, 2019, 06:03:47 PM »
yes we do observe it happening, from light refraction we see it as the sunset, it's border of the spotlight, or what i think is it's border is the orange or red tint you see with the sunset.

while i do appreciate the explanation as I am christian, some are not. I know that religion can sometimes be explained through science so if anyone could help me with an explanation that would be excepted by even the most blasphemous that would be very appreciated.

you cannot think of the sun as a normal light, emitting light in all directions evenly, it is a spotlight that has it's most concentrated point in the middle and gradually becomes darker as the center moves away from you until it simply isn't on you anymore.

it is simply that after a gradual decrease at a certain point the spotlight just stops being gradual and just shuts off

if you would like a visual model email me and i will make one for you

Flat Earth Theory / Explaining creation
« on: April 16, 2019, 04:37:31 PM »
I was recently arguing with a very stubborn roundy, and even after I disproved all of his points, and presented new ones that he simply couldn't explain, he still had me beet on one point...

How was the earth created if it's flat?

I couldn't think of a rational answer to this question and would like help so this question doesn't blind side me in the future.

this is especially important as the roundies do have an explanation for this, while it does include their delusional theory of gravity their is no other way I can disprove it, so any help on that would also be appreciated.
