I'd hate for the Patriots cheating to tarnish their legacy. That would just be unfair.
You don't think I'm going to post here sober, do you?  ???

I know you're being sarcastic, but it really would be. The competitive advantage aside from perhaps a psychological advantage because quarterbacks like a certain "feel" to the ball, is negligible and Aaron Rodgers essentially said he likes to push league ball specifications for his benefit. "cheating" I feel is too strong a word, just like I wouldn't call someone pulled over for speeding a "criminal". It's just really dumb, like speeding, they pay the fine and move on.

The ball was deflated, assuming it was an intentional act by the Pats, to help the run game grip the ball. The advantage is minor but does exist.

Regardless, I just hope this doesn't become the only narrative leading up to the game.

I wish we could stop talking about #DeflateGate because it's so dumb, but we cannot. And if we win, unless new information comes to light, the patriots will be discredited forever.
If the Patriots could resist cheating, however minor it may be, we would not have to talk about it. It is a stupid controversy though. The Pats crushed the Colts despite two bad deep balls from Tom. You can bet if the Pats lose the Seahawks will rub in how they beat a bunch of cheaters. Please Pats win!

If it had been another team, it wouldn't be a controversy, really, other than a passive mention on Sports Center

I'm glad we have a couple of known cheaters in the Super Bowl. I don't see how New England pulls this off though. That D comes up major in prime time under the spotlight, just like all of Slick Pete's teams.

I think a lot of it depends on NEs O-Line. If they can force Seattle in to blitzing to get pressure and run block well enough to keep the ball they have a good chance at getting opportunities for Gronk to Gronk them. (Edelman too)

Could Bill have any more tricks up his sleeve to fool their defense, or are they better than that?

They are pretty undisciplined for such an elite defense. I think Bill could get some penalties out of them?

Assuming Bill doesn't get suspended for being a big fat cheater.

Looks like the Patriots will get away with this one, I don't think Brady would deny everything had they not known the state of the investigation.

I believe the Patriots win by double-digits. Blount will run for one, Brady will throw 2 TD passes, at least. Discuss or something

Are we still good for $20 straight up?

Pats don't score more than 14... Beast mode comes alive in the 2nd half and Pats get run out of the building.

No, I need the Pats to win 28-21 so I can win $200 in my office blocks pool.  I guess I could settle for the Seahawks winning 21-18 though.

My friends, please remember Tom said this the next time you fall into the trap of engaging him, and thank you. :)

Junker: Yes.

No-one can cover Rob Gronkoswki, also.

Beast Mode, Legion of Boom, Richard Sherman, hard to believe we're actually playing against a group of adults.

I watched that match for about 2 minutes before switching to the soccer.

Because the American is so bloody dominant.
