Or Blanko was just being a dick.

I think it was just missed because it was posted, and not PM'd.  Wouldn't have changed anything.

I also don't get the whole 'Brady lost one game that was important and so he isn't that good' argument.

Who said he wasn't good?  He is fantastic.

Oh.  I took you to be saying that he sucks or something.

Nope.  His only problem is that he is from Michigan.

No, he is not good. He is the very best.

Eh sorry. I am bored. I just want someone to disagree with me. I will scurry away now until I have something to talk about.

Until you prove he is worthy of being in the all-time top 5, hit the bricks.  His wife makes more money than him.

Also, he went to Michigan.  Seriously, fuck Michigan.

Your argument against him lies on a single game

Which would've been the most important game in NFL history had he won, but he didn't.  There are plenty of QBs who have lost Superbowls in the last decade, he falls in that category.

The Patriots still have the best quarterback of the last 20 years. And the most handsome quarterback of all time.

Maybe, but he hasn't done anything in the past decade except blow two SBs and fail at a perfect season with arguably the best offense to ever play.  Also, your QB has a butt-chin.

Seattle is clearly the best team in the league.  Their defense might be the best that's ever been on an NFL field.  Richard Sherman plays man coverage with his hands.  Literally, he turns right to the QB at the snap and feels the receiver's cuts with his hands behind him.  I've never seen anything like it.

I know I'm a homer, but goddamn, I don't see what this team is lacking.

Best defense evah?  No way.  I would take the 2000 Ravens, the '85 Bears, the 70s Steelers, maybe even the '95 49ers.

Maybe the 94-95 SF team or the 00-01 Ravens team but there is no way a 70's or 80's D could play on the same field as the Seahawks'.  And I absolutely despise those drug-abusing, rule-breaking scumbags.

We need to add something about a NASA conspiracy in this thread so Tom sees it.

Effective.  PMing them may also work.

Oh?  It is barely noticeable...

I'll take SF in the playoffs.

Woe betide those who think they can shut down Marshawn Lynch.  The guy can move a pile like no one else.

Just not against a healthy SF font four.

It is a steering committee for the promotion of FET.  It doesn't hold sway over the forum, but we will adopt the models the council decides on.  The initial council's job is going to be to build a framework of rules and responsibilities, which is why it is only going to be temporary.  We are voting for people with enough FE knowledge to help guide the society.  I envision the council will engage non-council members and solicit feedback and opinions from our community to shape what its role is.  There is nothing firmly defined yet, because we are voting for a group of people to define it.

Perhaps I should just delete all the threads then. If e wry person who wasn't nominated is just going to complain then we shouldn't do this. I was only willing if there was no objections but clearly there is.

I think it should continue.  There won't be a system anywhere that no one has any objections to.  I agree with Thork that the votes aren't going to change much if at all, regardless of how many discussions are held.

I am in favor of the idea, still.  If the community as a whole doesn't want to, then so be it.

The Seahawks are hardly a lock for the Superbowl, even with home field advantage. I'd expect the Panthers do beat them, to be honest.

In Seattle?  How could you expect that? Seattle has not lost at home in almost 2 seasons. It's one of the toughest stadiums to play in and Seattle is on a roll right now.

They are on a 1-game winning streak.

The one game they lost was an extremely close game to the second or third best team in the NFC at home.  Otherwise they have been demolishing people.  They are relatively healthy, they have chemistry and confidence.  I dont think there is a better team in the NFL right now.

Everything says they should be a lock for the SB.  Which is why they are not.

Maybe, but the NFL has shown that hot teams are the ones that go far in the playoffs and there is no one hotter in the NFC.

I would say that SF is hotter right now.  They are getting healthy at the right time and are cranking out the wins.  Seattle has found ways to win some close games, which is a good thing.  But, they were a few plays away from losing to some very bad teams.  A testament to them that they won, though.  They are young, I think they will stumble.

Suggestions & Concerns / Re: Should Mods Be Held to Higher Standard

Being a mod shouldn't mean that you can be a dick whenever you want.

I guess it is a good thing that nearly everyone is saying that mods should be held to the same rules as members, then.  You know, the only rule you had to accept when joining here.

Patriots will pull it off. I'm probably just blinded by my patriots loyalty, but still, their odds probably are not superbad. (feel free to correct me, junker.)

Their odds are okay, currently 4th.

I guarantee it won't be Broncos/Seahawks, though.  One or the other, maybe.  Two #1 seeds in the SB does not happen often, and there is nothing about the current #1 seeds that suggest this year will be extraordinary.
