Aaaaaand you just stumped every FE on the page.You have an interesting definition of "stumping" someone. We're very clear about our scope. We know that the known Earth is flat. We know very little about what lies beyond the known Earth.
Why don't planes fall?
You are assuming satellites have no engines or propellers. Its possible they have nuclear engines (like submarines) and can run for years without refuelling, we already know they do have nuclear satellites so why not.

They (NASA) could also possibly be utilising magnetic fields for high flying craft like satellites, I would assume some technology has been suppressed from the general public, we are not privy to all the information.
So I could believe that they stay in the sky with a technology that you cannot prove to exist, or I could just believe that the earth is round and no such technology is required.
It's all a matter of belief. We may all choose, what to believe in. Usually I pick the most simple option.

Why can't the satellites rotate around the same barycenter the run and moon orbit around under the Flat Earth model?

People won't believe just a map. That's why I want somebody to travel to the edge and filming it. If they can see a physical edge, then they'll believe. If enough people get a kickstarter together, then people will wake up.

Ever considered that it was all just an effort to describe what they saw in a time of ignorance, and now we know better, I mean water above? Clouds, you know where the rain comes from maybe.

I think Billboards are a good idea, "Research Flat Earth" there is enough material online.

There is no accurate flat earth map, mostly because the entire concept and debate is something that has pretty recently been reinvigorated. There needs to be a team of people with expertise in cartography AND a willingness to rethink the world map from the ground up.
People navigated for thousands of years without the assumption of the Earth being round. Even the projection you see in your smart phone GPS is essentially a "flat" map.

I don't think anything about the AEP "map." I know that the distances are accurate for latitude only. As is thoroughly explained if you do even a small amount of research into how the projection was made.
Again I asked nothing about any projection map. I know how projection maps are made. I asked what do you think a flat earth map looks like? Not a trick question, I really want to know.
I misspoke earlier and said latitude when I meant longitude (since edited). Do you think that longitude lines maintain the same angle as they go south from the north pole? If so the distance between points at any latitude would be simple to calculate.
Longitude and Latitude would have nothing at all to do with a flat earth map.
...and how many have safely landed at the south pole when delivering supplies to the many hundreds of people who live there all year round. You can "Skype" chat with some of them.Unknown

Navigating to a certain coordinate definitely does not sound like flying blindly into the Southern Tundras to me.

I noticed this forum last night, joined today, and I can't help but notice all the round earthers who spend time on here. If the flat earth theory is blatantly wrong, why waste any time debating it when you could spend time doing virtually anything else? Are people truly passionate about round earth? I've never met anyone like that in person, but hey, maybe I'm just not paying enough attention. lol
Curiosity has gotten the better of me, I don't mean to sound malicious/sarcastic/whatever. I have nothing against round earthers, since most people are (though, as I said, typically only passionate about it online).
Isn't the FET totally crazy in the round earther's mind? Like someone saying, "they taught us the wrong alphabet, and it's really been this all along!" Well that would be completely nuts and no one would even bother arguing with that, because, what'd be the point? clearly it's insane and I would have better things to do, and rational ideas to contemplate.
I'm just wondering why someone who believes this irrefutable knowledge, that the earth is round, would even make time during their day to stop by this forum.

I can only speak for myself. I have always been fascinated by the things people believe and how they got to that point. Be it politics, religion, conspiracy theories, and now FE.
Can you tell me how you arrived at the FE conclusion?
Thanks for taking me seriously, what you said makes a lot of sense. I'm fascinated with conspiracy theories even though I don't believe in a lot of them.
I wouldn't say I've concluded the world is flat, it's just that they bring up a lot of interesting points. I know some can be proven wrong, but I feel like some of their ideas make a lot of sense. (globe or plane, I don't trust NASA either way.. scams and lies as far as I'm concerned)
Last winter, my dad started talking about the FET and I thought he was kidding because, otherwise, he's such a brilliant person who was also blessed with common sense. I was surprised when he said that he really thinks it's possible the earth is flat. I actually had no idea this was even a thing until then. Then I started looking at the proofs that it was a globe, and found that there's a ton of people who believe it isn't. Anyways, by looking for reasons he was wrong, I ended up being partial to the idea that our earth really could be flat. Whether it's true or not, I can't deny that I find it fascinating.. also, it makes the Bible more intriguing, too.
I'm keeping my mind open either way; I'm not looking to be swayed one way or the other in this particular thread, just curious about what draws people here. Thanks for your response!

Correct me if I'm wrong, I have read the FAQ and it does not address the flight time problem in any way. In fact, the FAQ does not contain the word "flight" if the search is working.A fair point, I was being too harsh. Let's substitute "I didn't read the FAQ" with "I didn't do basic research" for the sake of accuracy. The sentiment stands.
This may not be the right place for the discussion on flight times but I have seen the question asked many times and never answered. How do you explain it when flights between South Africa and Australia take the amount of time they would if plotted on a globe? If plotted on any flat earth map in the Wiki / FAQ they would take much longer unless the aircraft could exceed it's posted speed and fly supersonic.
The map everyone wants to reference and or criticize doesn't accurately represent longitude. No one makes that claim. The projection is called Azimuthal Equidistant meaning that each line of longitude intersects the lines of latitude at equal distances. It is a projection made on the assumption of the Earth being a sphere, and should not be used beyond basic visualization of how our planet might appear with the North Pole as its center.
