Flat Earth Community / A quick poll
« on: December 24, 2019, 01:12:52 AM »
Saw this in a post, and decided to make it into an actual poll, please tell me if this was already posted and I'll take the post down.

Flat Earth Community / Creating a Flat Earth Map.
« on: July 18, 2019, 10:51:51 PM »
So, first things first, this is different than my previous posts. What I am here for is something well against my views. I'm asking for help, on making a true Flat Earth Map. I'm not part of tfes however, I've always been curious if a map works. Anyone want to help? I guess if nobody else wants to make on that actually works, we gotta do it ourselves. I've reached the point, where I'm holding strong to my RE beliefs, but I'll work on a map. Gotta do the work to prove your point. Anyone wanna help?

Science & Alternative Science / Elon Musk
« on: April 03, 2019, 01:15:55 PM »

Im not sure if you're aware of this article, but it's something Musk still plans to do. These rockets will leave the atmosphere and enter orbit. This will be available to the public, meaning that you no longer have to be an astronaut to go into space. Once this is released...this entire theory of this and that will be solved. Once this is released, we can all put this forum to rest...

Flat Earth Theory / North star (well not really on a flat earth)
« on: March 22, 2019, 02:51:36 PM »
Polaris, the North Star, something that travelers have used for hundreds, if not thousands of years to navigate. And because it is the North Star, on a RE it's not visible from very southern parts of our world, like Australia and some places in Brazil. On a RE this is explained, obviously you can't see through the ear at something that's hidden behind it. But what about on a FE? Why can't you see it, if it's clearly in the same range of view. It's fairly obvious that it SHOULD be seen on a FE, but isn't. Why?

Flat Earth Community / Why just Rowbotham?
« on: March 14, 2019, 06:18:20 PM »
There's always been a question bugging my mind. Why just Rowbotham? What I mean by this is;

When quoting or citing a test done, you mainly (60-70%) of the time, get one about or from Rowbotham. Why is he the one that stands out? He went against the entire scientific community, but failed, unlike so many who have been proven true. Its however many years later, and his experiments and observations still haven't been globally agreed upon. Why is he of such importance? Why is there nearly nobody else in the scientific community quoted as much as him?

Flat Earth Theory / Paper. Simply irrefutable.
« on: January 28, 2019, 04:35:40 PM »
How does paper fall the way it does? On a Flat Earth there is no gravity, and objects don't fall, the Earth accelerates upwards to it. So have a friend hold a piece of paper and a rock. Now put your hands under them, and simulate what would happen, by bringing your hands up to meet those objects. That's strange...there's no air resistance from the paper... How does this work? Unless objects do fall by some magic of Flat Earth science. Anybody care to explain this?

Science & Alternative Science / Anti-Vaxxers
« on: January 28, 2019, 04:24:35 PM »
Does anybody here actually believe that vaccines don't work, and that you shouldn't vaccinate your child, or anybody? I've always been curious about why you would think that...

Flat Earth Community / Resources and time
« on: January 04, 2019, 04:02:09 PM »
A common "explanation" of why there are no definitive maps or measurements for a flat Earth is Tom and his team don't have the time or resources. I'm gonna quote my science teacher on this one. "If you are not willing to put in the time, then your hypothesis is virtually useless." The internet is a powerful resource, and can easily be used by anyone on this site. There are probably tens of thousands of people who you can connect with at any point in time. Here's a great way to use this resource: break up the time, and resources required among hundreds of members across the world. Instead of one person doing all the work, I'm sure hundreds, thousands even, could easily take the time to combine their information. If the Flat Earth society has the time to create a meeting, and multiple websites, then they have time to gather people and find out if the world is actually spherical, or history for the past 2000 years has been wrong.

Flat Earth Theory / Underside of a flat earth
« on: December 19, 2018, 06:10:37 PM »
Assuming we go off the fact that plate tectonics some how work on a flat earth, we must also assume that under the surface is magma. So...what's under the magma? How would that connect to the surface? And if there is something under it, how does it not crumble away into the abyss below the accelerating disk? And if we assume there isn't magma under the surface, how do plate tectonics work? Are those even possible on a flat earth, the way they work on a round one? If they are, can anyone describe how they would fit together to give the same affect they would on a round earth?

Flat Earth Theory / Moon landing and wires
« on: November 28, 2018, 01:36:24 PM »
I've seen a lot of posts saying there was evidence that wires were being used. I'm really not sure how any of these videos would make you believe that wires are in use. So please, prove me wrong with a nice, clear video that shows wires.

Honestly, I don't know how to start with this...please, go ahead and explain.

Flat Earth Investigations / 8 Inches to a mile incorrect
« on: May 18, 2018, 06:18:56 PM »
This equation is not correct, and I just want to say this to everybody who doesn't know this already.

Philosophy, Religion & Society / Atheism.
« on: May 10, 2018, 02:44:24 PM »
A lot of people have misconceptions of Atheism. Would anyone mind telling me what they think it is?

Flat Earth Community / How you started V.2
« on: May 09, 2018, 06:11:08 PM »
I have believed in the round Earth since I was a child. But I'm curious how you became a flat earther, and what evidence pushed you over the edge.

Flat Earth Theory / Flat Earth Questions.
« on: May 08, 2018, 01:10:00 PM »
(If you dissolve into a screaming mess of name calling and stupidity, please, don't respond here, I want an actual debate.)

1. I've heard a lot of things, saying all space companies were fake, and just taking tax money. What proof do you have? I've never once heard or seen of an article saying this.

2. IF the Earth was flat, why do we have a history of proof for the round Earth, and not against it?

Flat Earth Theory / Elon Musk
« on: April 11, 2018, 04:58:45 PM »
I'm guessing that all of you think Elon Musk is fake, and he's just doing the SpaceX hoax for money? Is his company fake, but for what reason? Money? I think owning Tesla, the Boring Company, selling Pay-Pal, and owning SpaceX, he'd have enough money.

Flat Earth Community / When did you start?
« on: April 09, 2018, 02:10:25 PM »
I'm done arguing my point, so I'm just asking -politely- when did you start believing the Earth was Flat, who/what gave you the evidence?  I mean, I learned the Earth was round, before I really paid attention to it in school. As a child, my parents took me to the beach a lot, and there, I could see big boats have their mast appear first. Since I've always liked to learn how things worked, I asked them, and they told me that because of the curvature, the mast appeared first. I would love to hear your stories.

Flat Earth Theory / Moon and Moon Landing.
« on: March 28, 2018, 12:44:19 PM »
Hello, I am not a Flat Earther, but I do have a question for the Flat Eathers. If I can PROVE the Moon Landing wasn't faked, does that mean I have disproved the Earth is Flat? The Moon -According to many Flat Earthers- is not actually a place, and is another government scheme, but if people have been there, that means it is real. Please, prove the Moon landing was fake, and I'll believe the Earth is flat. Not until then, though.
