He sounds like a bit of a nutter.

I hope they throw the book at him. Why should he make money (that's what he's doing) from land he doesn't own? I would say he's committing theft against the tax payer.

I quite like the new Superman Man of Steel film.

It was alright. Jonathan Kent's death was moronic. Clark could have easily saved him, why didn't he?

It had something to do with the world not being ready for someone like Clark Kent.

I don't know why Clark didn't rescue the dog instead of his dad though.

Clark was taking care of his mom.

His Mum didn't need taking care of.

I thought they were trying to make superman more vulnerable and human like compared to the other films about him.

I don't know about anyone else but there are times when I want to watch a film that doesn't use too much brain power. The Avengers etc... falls into that category nicely for me.

There are also times when I fancy a film that has more depth to it.

It all depends on my mood really.

Science & Alternative Science / Re: Anthropogenic Climate Change

The only way to determine anything with that much certainty would be to have two Earth's that are identical in every way except one has humans and the other one doesn't. Climate science isn't experimentally verifiable, it leans on statistics, much like psychology and sociology.

That's not true.

They conduct experiments in the arctic (to determine climate history). They measure the concentration of C02 in the atmosphere with probes all over the world. They measure the amount of arctic ice that's melting the list goes on.

I think you're getting confused between qualitative information and quantitative data.

It's not necessarily cruel to keep an animal in captivity or teach it to do tricks.

Dogs are a good example. If I released a pet dog into the wild it would be cruel.

Same goes with any animal that has only known captivity all it's life.

EVE's alright but I got bored with it after a while. I'm not sure if that's because I'm getting older and find computer games a bit same old same old.

It sounds to me that the old site was ripping you off. Perhaps you two should try and find others who may have been ripped off as well.

1. Troll
2. Get attention (TV, newspapers, celebrities)
3. Bilk people for money for tshirts, hoodies, memorabilia.

Actually there is some truth to the above since the Society has not done very well even towards its own members.  I have never received the sign-up package myself, nor a shirt that I paid $20 for, even after numerous emails.  How can I trust the Society with any of my funds when it has such a bad track record in regards to its own members?

If you made a payment and haven't received the goods I suggest you contact trading standards.

Not a bad idea.

Solar farms tend to be a bit ugly. If you put them in a road I guess you get over that problem.

The desert landscapes can be a bit repetitive but apart from that the Fallout series are pretty good.

I bet other zoos kill animals as well. This zoo just seems to be in the lime light.
