I've only played for a few hours, but so far I've been having a ton of fun. Blizzard revolutionizes another genre of games.

This game is amazing. I can't decide which character class to play because they're all seriously a blast. My favorite so far is a tie between Reinhardt and Bastion.

I pre-ordered it on the Bone. What it lacks in depth it definitely makes up for with some ridiculously fun gameplay. It's like an FPS version of Smash Bros.
So far my favorite character is Torbjorn when defending, and McCree on offense. It does have some balance issues, though. Roadhog is ridiculously strong. He can one shot most characters with his shotgun, can self heal, and has a shitload of life to begin with. People say Bastion is OP, but he's just really straightforward and easy to play. Tracer is supposed to be the MVP of Overwatch, but she's pretty weak imo. Her teleporting nonsense is kind of annoying, but I never really feel threatened by her. Zenyatta is probably really OP, but he's so hard to use it doesn't look like anyone has mastered him yet. Reinhardt is pretty great and a good counter to Roadhog.

I think the game will get a lot more fun from a team standpoint in a few weeks. Right now the characters are fun but your team is either steamrolling the map or getting perpetually wiped.
The characters are fun, but a lot of players, including myself, just aren't very good at the game right now. Learning how to skillfully use the characters is going to take a while.

I do want to try it, but I feel that I might not end up playing it much if I do get it. Reason is, none of my irl friends are getting it as far as I know, and I have absolutely no interest in playing with random internet strangers.

In other news, I got my skill rating in Overwatch. 56/100; That's just the starting rank after my placement matches, so that might be pretty okay or terrible, no way for me to know for certain.
