So, Trump has been sentence...

To nothing.  "Unconditional Discharge"
So, like all other rich people, he did something illegal and has had no penalty for it.  Not even a token fine.
There is still the status of “convicted felon” that may affect his ability to get government contracts in the future.

Irony intended.

Greenland's Prime Minister is on board with escaping from the Danish empire - https://www.yahoo.com/news/greenland-leader-wants-independence-denmark-183435953.html
But it doesn’t look like he’s interested in Greenland becoming part of the US empire.

Remember the Maine?

Pearl Harbor?
No.  I do not know of The Maine.
But I am aware if Pearl Harbor.
In 1898, the USS Maine was a battleship docked at the port of Havana when it blew up.  Nobody is quite sure why, but the US figured that it was a good enough reason to start the Spanish-American war.

That's not how it works. Congress does not have the right to make these kinds of constitutional determinations and take unilateral action on them, let alone for something drastic like overturning an election.
Both houses of Congress voted to convict Trump of insurrection at his second impeachment trial.  It sounds like they already made those sorts constitutional determinations and of took that sort of action.

Level is not the same as flat.  On a round earth, the level structure would follow the curvature of the earth at a constant height.

And then it'll go to SCOTUS which will say "You can't persecute him for breaking an oath as all actions he takes as president are not subject to investigation or use as evidence"
As I understand it, SCOTUS has no say in the matter.  From the same article:
Quote
Second, counting the Electoral College votes is a matter uniquely assigned to Congress by the Constitution. Under well-settled law this fact deprives the Supreme Court of a voice in the matter, because the rejection of the vote on constitutionally specified grounds is a nonreviewable political question.

Like I said, possible, but not likely.

It might be possible the election results will not be certified.

No, it's not.

It's possible, just not likely.
The Constitution provides that an oath-breaking insurrectionist is ineligible to be president. This is the plain wording of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution. “No person shall … hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath … to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.” This disability can be removed by a two-thirds vote in each House.

Disqualification is based on insurrection against the Constitution and not the government. The evidence of Donald Trump’s engaging in such insurrection is overwhelming. The matter has been decided in three separate forums, two of which were fully contested with the active participation of Trump’s counsel.

Not at all.  Tribalism by any other name.  The only difference is the size of the tribes.

The Presidential Libraries Act does not fucking require a library to be built.
Perhaps not, but it would be a nice big building with Trump’s name on it and dedicated to his ego presidency where his MAGA disciples can pilgrimage and properly venerate him.  How could he possibly say no to that?

Also, please remember that this is not angry ranting, so watch your th*rking language.

It would be nice if more experiments were performed on Antarcica. However, some here will recall the last trip to Antarctica experiment turned out to be a scam perpetuated by the RE'ers organizing it. People paid a lot of money to go and the organization just disappeared with the money.
Well, it looks like this one is happening for real (assuming you don't think that the whole thing is being green screened).

The US does not have jurisdiction over illegal immigrants, but if you, as an illegal immigrant, commit a serious felony in the US, I would believe you are going to spend quite a bit of time in a US prison.
How can you put someone in prison if you don’t have jurisdiction over them? ???

No other country on the flat earth would even consider something like "birthright citizenship." If you tried to pull this shit in Norway, or even Canada, and were caught, you will definitely get fucking deported.
Perhaps not on the flat earth, but on the round earth there are a number of countries, including Canada, with birthright citizenship.
Every Country with Unrestricted Birthright Citizenship (jus soli):

The following countries have unrestricted birthright citizenship: Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chad, Child, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Fiji, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Jamaica, Lesotho, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Tanzania, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, the United States, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

The last time Trump tried tariffs on China, he wound up having to bail out American soy bean farmers.
After a series of tariff increases on Chinese imports, the government of China retaliated against U.S. exporters, as predicted by trade analysts outside of the administration. As a result, U.S. exports, particularly of agricultural goods, dropped significantly. “Losing the world’s most populous country as an export market has been a major blow to the [U.S.] agriculture industry,” reported the New York Times in August 2019. “Total American agricultural exports to China were $24 billion in 2014 and fell to $9.1 billion last year, according to the American Farm Bureau.” In 2018, U.S. farmers’ soybean exports to China declined by 75%, according to the U.S. International Trade Commission.

Could you at least post the "empirical evidence"?
How's this?
https://taxfoundation.org/research/all/federal/section-232-tariffs-steel-aluminum-2024/
Quote
Key Findings

The Section 232 tariffs on imports of steel and aluminum raised the cost of production for manufacturers, reducing employment in those industries, raising prices for consumers, and hurting exports.

The jobs “saved” in the steel-producing industries from the tariffs came at a high cost to consumers, at roughly $650,000 per job saved according to the Peterson Institute for International Economics.

A recent report from the U.S. International Trade Commission found that the tariffs increased the average prices of steel and aluminum by 2.4 percent and 1.6 percent, respectively, disproportionately hurting “downstream” industries that use steel and aluminum in their production processes.

I'm wondering if children hitting puberty earlier and earlier has them trying to come to terms with their sexual and/or gender identities before they're really ready for it.
Summary: Study reveals 11-year-olds who question their gender identity or express a desire to change their gender enter puberty earlier than their peers.

Do you really expect a fast food franchise with a high employee turnover rate to keep employee records from 40 years ago?
