Since apparently the current media trend of hailing the apocalypse whenever a celebrity dies doesn't extend to anyone with actual talent, here's a belated farewell to Aretha Franklin, who died on 16 August. Sad times. :(

Her death was indeed widely covered, although the story soon became about Donald Trump rather than her. It's funny how that so often happens.
