New Chrome update question
« on: January 08, 2014, 09:44:23 PM »
Chrome has recently changed for me, noticeably the way scrolling works. When I use my trackpad to scroll, it goes in large chunks, not fluidly. Is there a way I can change this? inb4 change browsers

Change browsers. Chrome is the new IE - the seemingly most popular browser on the market that shits all over any and all standards.

If you insist on using Chrome, I believe their scrolling was always chunky. Perhaps you used to have an extension to change that and that got deleted somehow? Something along the lines of this?

Silly question, but have you double checked the smooth scrolling setting?

Make sure you aren't running a bunch of plugins.
Put more coal into the little furnace that powers your AMD X2.

And stop using chrome. It's slow because of the massive amounts of your personal data that it's secretly sending back to Google HQ.

This. Go to chrome://flags/ and check smooth scrolling.
That's how far the horizon is, not how far you can see.

Yes, let's all switch over to IE instead and have our identities owned by BingMicrosoft.

Every browser is a botnet now, yadda yadda yadda.

That was the first thing I did. It does scroll differently but not fluidly.

I am almost certain that it used to be better. I could read things while scrolling, but now I can't.

@Thork I don't run anything other than adblock.

I might be a lunatic, but I am near certain it has changed recently.
