I don't like it being separate. Its a pain in the hole to get to and whenever I get there, no one says anything.

If I could just see it and chat whenever I saw active chat, I'd use it.

Besides Parsifal said there could be more than one channel. If you must all bitch about people behind their backs, you can do it in a secret channel that I will never visit.

You mean the one everyone will end up using anyway. Nobody wants spectators in IRC.

I really don't like having a separate window that you have to open though. Can the IRC be integrated to live on the forum page?

We have a really active society with people on-line all the time. Its a massive strength. If you arrive and see chat messages appearing before your eyes I hope it would make you want to join in.

Stop trying to actively ruin IRC.

that isn't as helpful as I suspect you intended it to be.

Avoid windows 8 too.  But that's nearly impossible.

I don't think there's any reason to get Windows 7 over 8, unless you're too stupid to get rid of Metro.

Just a suggestion, but an irc chat thing could be in the header of this forum.

Upside is easy and everyone gets to be part of the discussion as it happens live. This i really like. + its not saved so you can be a bit more out there.

Downside is it is more moderation.

But it may well be fun. If it can be done, why not trial it? Putting everything in one place is simpler and easy for users.

But then it would be harder to talk behind people's backs

Yeah, they do work well. PizzaPlanet already did board icons as you may have noticed, and I just redid them with edited levels and borders.

I was thinking about the favicon for your browser. We don't have one at present.

I know. I already tried something else for a favicon, but it may be better just to use a scaled down logo. I'll maybe edit its levels as well; the colors on the smaller versions seem to look too faded out.

I'm on my phone at the moment and I haven't figured out how to screenshot on a Galaxy Xpress. I'll check it on my computer tonight.  It could just be a size issue on my phone.

We can make it smaller if we don't get it otherwise sorted out, or if people think it looks too large now. I made it bigger because I expected it to scale down poorly, but that didn't end up being the case at all.
