Title: T-minus 10 hours - Artemis Mission to Moon

Edit:. This video explains the mission, flight path, and duration etc.  17,000mph and crazy altitude gains in the first few minutes.

Nevermind... The launch was scrubbed because of cooling issues in the tank or something.  Friday might be the next window, i'll try to update.

Putin is laughing his ass off.

I can't wait to either watch it blow up or bend over on its trajectory only to go Kaplunk in the ocean.

Camel will tell us it was a fine day, next is Mars.  I heard a Tesla plant will be the first thing erected on the moon.

T-minus eventually.  Although, to be fair (in case anyone is interested in that), these things rarely go off first try for NASA.

How hard is it to understand that if you're going to get something into orbit it can't just go straight up like in a cartoon.
Sheesh...

How hard is it for you to understand there is a dome above us and nothing goes up very far. You're the one watching CGI cartoons of NASA fake BS.

Fake currency, fake news, fake space, fake globe...a fake

Not hard at all.  All we have to do is look at who's making that claim and we understand completely.  So, J-Man, rest in that we understand exactly what you mean.

On topic though, I am watching this closely.  I hope they can make the next window, but I'd rather they get it right even if they have more work to do.

I'm stoked.

The launch window conflicts with a very important race (AMA Pro MX final) I have promised to watch with others, but that's what split screen is for, right?

Artemis takes precedent as the racing does not get realy interesting until after the window closes.

This time around the launch window is also (at least for me in CA) much more convenient.  The previous one was something like 5am-7am PDT, to early for me.  But I'll be watching this time!

So apparently they have scrapped Tuesday's 9/27 launch attempt because of Hurricane Ian approaching Florida's launch site (See images below).  Later Tonight or Tomorrow Nasa will decide whether to move the shuttle back to its main housing facility. IF they do, then their next October 2nd launch attempt will be scrapped and a later date will be made.

Tuesday's Forecast (9/27)

Update:  The spacecraft will be moved to its "Vehicle Assembly Building" 4 miles from the launch site.  A new Launch date hasn't been mentioned.  AND Nasa just crashed a rocket into an Astroid with there "DART" mission...  It looked like a video game.  :)

Okay, the next launch attempt will be at 1am EST tomorrow - Wednesday November 15th.

I'm kind of excited.  This is the biggest rocket ever built I hear.

Like it would if it was going into orbit around the globe?  :)
Now if you could just prove it landed somewhere or ditched in the ocean then you might be on to something.

I don’t see it landing in the ocean. How are you distinguishing this from a 3D flight path towards an escape orbit?

Are people suggesting that it is just flying away into the distance just to land somewhere? lol

Well, most of the rocket (that isn't propellant), at least.  Unless you're China, of course.  In that case, all bets are off.

This is sort of interesting... A live view of the moon from the Orion Capsule...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHLDluKhuU8

Edit:. I don't think this feed is live bc I keep seeing the same images ...  NASA isn't publishing live feed 24/7 bc they share the deep space communication network used by others -  but there trying.

I will need proof that all rockets drop into the ocean, this is an extraordinary claim.

Who would win: tens of thousands of engineers that get paid to get rockets in space, or a guy on the internet that says “I think it’s fake”?

The Russians launched from Baikonour, in Kazakhstan.  Which ocean?  C'mon, now, look at the map of Asia. Which ocean?

Also, when you map out an orthographic view of a rocket going upward and away from the launch site, it does not matter whether you map it against a flat earth or globe. Either way, as the rocket climbs and moves further away, the net result in both cases is that it appears to drop, by moving lower in the observer's field of view. Do the maths on it, and you'll see. Wanna see mine?

So sneaky that all of air traffic control didn't notice a military transport plane in the vicinity.

more proof you're not exiting the dome and satellites aren't real, only towers and balloons doing the connections.
