Test your Netflix and amazon cloud server connection.

Reports are coming in that Verizon is throttling traffic from those two hosts.

Isn't FiOS fiber to the home?  The website says 500mbps, I hardly think an HD Netflix stream would be a problem. There should be no capacity issue. I think I'd be okay with them capping Netflix at 30% of my maximum rate if capacity was an issue though.

Verizon throttling Netflix traffic has nothing to do with capacity and everything to do with money. Want HD Netflix? Time to pay for Verizon's HD package.
