So now, if I say “some”, that still seems to be an issue.

Yes, it's still an issue, because you still don't have the first idea about FE, but you have the audacity to push beliefs onto others.

There seems to be an ongoing problem around here: RE'ers aren't quite sure what FE'ers believe.  Even when RE'ers are referred to the WIKI, Pete has sagely pointed out that the the WIKI has a good deal of historical material that may or may not still be relevant to modern FET.  There is also the problem that relatively little of the discussion in the FE discussion boards is actually about FET, and even so, different FE'ers may have different (and often conflicting) ideas.  Is it any wonder that even long time posters "still don't have the first idea about FE"?

To help alleviate this problem, perhaps it's time for a new FAQ that focuses on presenting a concise outline of what RE'ers need to know in order to be able to have a (relatively) productive discussion about contemporary FET.  I would recommend that it be clearly pointed out which topics have reached a consensus among FE'ers and which are still being contested, along with links to relevant WIKI articles.

In an attempt to debunk the moon hoax conspiracy theorists on the eve of the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, the Science Channel is airing a new investigative series that features a retired astronaut and a former FBI agent are working with an Apollo 11 conspiracy theorist to test various conspiracy claims.  So far they've looked at things like the radiation of the Van Allen belts, the controlability of the lunar module training vehicle, ability to see the lunar landing sites and more.  As each claim is tested and debunked, the resident conspiracy theorist reluctantly concedes that the "official" explanation might be plausible, but doggedly refuses admit that the lunar landings actually happened saying that there are still plenty of claims in need of testing.

Some of the confession cam monologues sound a bit hokey, but there's lots of good investigation going on I wonder if any of the true die hard moon hoaxers will be convinced or if they'll just claim that the show is itself a hoax and their resident conspiracy theorists is just a shill.

I recently came across an interesting presentation on geocentricism by Robert Segunis, which expresses his views. While Segunis believes that the earth is round, he believes that the earth is motionless, and takes us through much of the evidence for a motionless earth. Segunis talks about the motionless earth experiments, providing the words of various surprised physicists who refuse to believe that the earth is motionless, and looks at various cosmological data.

One thing I could never quite understand about geocentism (flat or round) is the notion of a stationary earth.  To me, it doesn't stand up to Occam's Razor.  After all, which is the simpler explanation: the entire universe containing countless celestial bodies revolves around the earth in near perfect lockstep producing effects like the long exposure star trails that we all know and love; or the earth spins on its axis while the rest of the universe stays relatively still producing the same effect.

Ross has filed a lawsuit against Apple this week, claiming that the iPhone, iPad, and iPod infringe upon his 1992 invention of a hand-drawn "Electronic Reading Device" (ERD). The court filing claims the plaintiff was "first to file a device so designed and aggregated," nearly 15 years before the first iPhone.

Just as everyone thought that solar roads were dead and gone, it looks like France might be giving it a shot:

France is planning on a project to build 1000 kilometers of road with specially designed solar panels. This project will supply 5 million people in France with electricity if it is successful. Though many solar experts are skeptical of this project, the french government has given the go ahead to this venture.

The dour-faced, slouch-shouldered New York-born actor who always looked like he had one foot in the grave — and who had long been rumored to be pushing up daisies — finally stepped into it when he died Tuesday morning. He was 94.

Looks like the terrorist bastards are at it again. 

France has declared a national state of emergency and has closed its borders after at least 40 people were killed in multiple gun and bomb attacks in Paris.

At least 15 people were killed at the Bataclan concert hall, where gunmen took up to 60 people hostage.

Police have now stormed the venue and killed two attackers, French media say.

Others died in attacks near the Stade de France, with some reports suggesting a suicide blast, and at restaurants in central Paris.

CHARLESTON, S.C. — A white gunman opened fire Wednesday night at a historic black church in downtown Charleston, S.C., killing nine people before fleeing and setting off an overnight manhunt, the police said.

At a news conference with Charleston’s mayor early Thursday, the police chief, Greg Mullen, called the shooting a hate crime.

“It is unfathomable that somebody in today’s society would walk into a church while they are having a prayer meeting and take their lives,” he said.

Another legendary actor takes his final bow.

Sir Christopher Lee, known as the master of horror, has died at the age of 93 after being hospitalised for respiratory problems and heart failure.

The veteran actor, immortalised in films from Dracula to The Wicker Man, and via James Bond villainy to the Lord of the Rings trilogy, died at 8.30am on Sunday morning at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.

So, what is the simplest explanation; that NASA has successfully designed and invented never before seen rocket technologies from scratch which can accelerate 100 tons of matter straight up at 7 miles per second, and that NASA can do the impossible on a daily basis, explore the solar system, and constantly wow the nation by landing a man on the moon and sending robots to mars; or is the simplest explanation that they really can't do all of that stuff?

Tom, you seem to enjoy dragging out this tired piece of copypasta, but you never seem explain just what it means.  For example, exactly what "never before seen rocket technologies" are you referring to and who said that NASA invented them from scratch?  You do realize that solid propellent rockets were invented hundreds of years ago and liquid propellent rockets were invented more than 30 years before NASA was even founded, don't you?  What rocket technologies did NASA invent for the moon program that didn't already exist in some form or other?  If anything, NASA pretty much just scaled up the rocket existing technology.

Also, when did NASA ever claim that they were doing the impossible, let alone on a daily basis?  I think that you also have a rather unconventional notion of "constantly" when referring to moon landings and Mars probes.

Personally, I think that the simplest explanation is that you are desperately grasping at straws so that you can dismiss any evidence that so completely and conclusively contradicts FET.
