I would like to mention that he wasn't the most trustworthy guy.  He proposed that moonlight was cold and translucent,  said that he could cure every disease, and that he could prolong human life.  Once he was defeated in the realm of science, he started a new hobby of conning people.  Not a nice guy.

Classification of information isn't stupid, it's safe.  For example, if we released the genetic sequence for Botulism H, a barrel could kill billions.  Under #2, that record is classified.

Suggestions & Concerns / Re: Unofficial Debate Guidelines

1.  I didn't say we shouldn't break things up.  I'm doing that right now.  I mean don't break it up sentence by sentence.

2.  The only people who have disapproved of it ,as I am aware, are Spycrab and Junker.  Only one rule has been disapproved of.  That rule was being voted on.  I would like you to reread it, please.

You didn't even link to the thread you're talking about. I've already lost interest because you're expecting me to do all the work.
Sorry.  I'll find it.

Suggestions & Concerns / Unofficial Debate Guidelines
« on: May 10, 2018, 01:21:23 PM »
At the moment in CN is a list of guidelines that we feel would help debate.  In fact, we were voting on a new rule when it was put there.  We ask that the guidelines in "A new Debate Style" be made official.

I did not mean to annoy anyone.  I just wanted some FE'ers to post.  It is boring to see a on side discussion.

Flat Earth Theory / Antimatter and TFES
« on: May 08, 2018, 02:02:57 PM »
I remember reading a while back in a post something about the Flat Earth using antimatter as a substitute for gravity, I think?  With new evidence present about antimatter, how would this effect TFES?

Ha!  Good one!

I know, but we still should try to be civilized.

It is crazy, but then again..... it wouldn't be the weirdest thing we've heard here on this site.

9 out of 10, I understand I phrased it incorrectly.

The moon landing conspiracy has been debunked many times.  It was so easy to debunk it was on Adam Ruins Everything.  If you can debunk it easily in layman's terms, it probably isn't true.

I don't care whose side you're on, but show respect.  This is scientific discussion and debate, not petty name-calling.

15
Since no FE'ers have replied, does this mean they concede?

I like how TFE theory is built on the Government/Scientists lying to us.

Flat Earth Theory / Animals

One of my favorite things to read is The Washington Post.  Recently, I came across https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/watching-them-poop-researchers-discover-that-dogs-can-sense-which-way-is-north/2014/01/26/26f7f85e-83ae-11e3-bbe5-6a2a3141e3a9_story.html?utm_term=.f84bf1b41366 this article.  Many animals can sense earth's magnetic field.  As this article shows, even dogs.  If the earth was flat, this wouldn't happen.  FE'ers, I ask you how you explain this.

Why would we admit we're wrong? And we're not destroyed in debates here. Round earthers take cheap shots and gang up on us that it becomes too tedious and time-consuming to continue the debates.

https://forum.tfes.org/index.php?topic=9466.0
As I assume happened here?  Although, one tiny problem...... it was one-on-one debating!  It was one FE'er, one RE'er, just going at it.  We asked a question.
You've had since the 21st of April.  You still haven't answered.  There were no cheap shots.  No ganging up on one another.  Just a typical finish to a debate here.  To better explain, I will present a model of that debate.

RE #1:  Proof.
FE #1:  Sly trick, but works.
RE #1:  Rebuttal.
FE #1:  Another trick.
RE#1:  RE #1 Wants proving model.
RE #1: RE #1 Asking again.
FE'ers never post again.  So far.

There are 1000 of you to 1 of us.

I urge you to read these lines.  As you can see, this was one-on-one.  "It was 1000 to 1!" doesn't work.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Space Tourists

I think that the FE'ers will say they're in on it.  The top 10% are part of the USA's elite, and I would assume that most likely they will say everyone in America's elite is in on it.

It is possible to see a rocket being launched, as Westprog said.  In fact, I have seen one.  I was at a soccer practice near Richmond, VA, when the Antares(I believe that was its name) rocket blew up.  We didn't see all of it, as Henrico is far away from the Chesapeake, but we saw a strange tinge of color in the sky.  My friend and me looked up when it had blown up, and it matched up with when we saw the strange tinges of colors.
