Incorrect. Affidavits are evidence.

Well, they are. But not all evidence is created equal. I mean, this is how they got on in court with some affidavits in a previous case:

Quote
"What I have, at best, is a hearsay affidavit," said [Judge Cynthia D.] Stephens, who was appointed by then-Gov. Jennifer Granholm, a Democrat. "If there is something in that affidavit that would indicate that the [witness] observed activity that would be a depravation of the rights of poll watchers, I want you to please focus my attention on that. ... 'I heard somebody else say something.' Tell me why that's not hearsay. Come on now."

So...
Right now it feels more crackpot than Kraken, the stuff she’s claiming is so “out there” that even Trump’s campaign have distanced themselves from it. But I guess she’ll have her day in court so we’ll see how she gets on.

How many of these lying dems are going to squeal like pigs once they are deposed with potentially decades in prison for voter fraud? Sorry this thing blew up for the Deep State and these low level clowns who thought they were secure.... Trump knew this was coming and so should have AG Barr

So a republication governor and a republican senator rush the purchase of dominion voting machines...and this is evidence of deep state Dems diligently doing dodgy, dirty deeds?

But hes found a way to get away with avoiding admitting he lost. NYT reporting that was a major sticking point, and aides said that it wasnt until learning he could allow the transition process to begin without making an official concession letter/speech that he permitted things.

Hopefully that doesnt amount to much, but it definitely leaves an ominous air to things, if his very loyal base decides to stay mad that Biden is taking over "without Trump ever admitting defeat"

Yes.

Ballast Point Sculpin is my go-to IPA. The grapefruit Sculpin is also excellent. I was a little worried when AB InBev bought them a few years ago but nothing has changed. And it seems AB is buying basically everyone these days.

I have four breweries within a short walk from my house. Beer is good.

Will add that to the list! Generally I like the stronger (>7%) IPAs  with a hit of citrus... some of the double-hopped brews are a bit over the top for my liking.

I miss being close to good brew pubs. Have one close by but they only have one or two decent options.

I must digress.  I am unable to drink beer as the smell and taste makes me gag.  The last time I had a sip, I spit it out on reflex.

Therefore, beer is not always good.

I'm sorry to hear that! You're missing out on some good stuff these days - more for the rest of us I guess

Theres an (unofficial) online campaign telling republican voters in GA to support Trump by writing his name on the senate race ballot instead of checking any of the boxes.
That's hilarious, although it might turn ugly - someone, somewhere, is encouraging a target group to submit invalid ballots. Could it be the Spooкy Naтion?

I agree completely. Hilarious, but potentially verrrry problematic.

Would whatever is under Rudy's  skinsuit be the leader of the whatever the spooky nation is?

Most would not agree with a word of what I wrote. The wiki page explains the FE view of why we feel as though were under an acceleration of 9.8m/s^2. Look up Universal Acceleration.

Only marginally- relevant, but if the earth was shaped like a disk, and gravity worked in the traditional sense... things would be pretty weird. In the center, at the north pole, itd feel the same, you'd feel pulled downward at 9.8m/s^2. Once you start walking south, you start putting more and more mass behind you, so it's actually like you'd be walking up a progressively steeper hill... so if the earth was a disk and gravity was normal, itd actually seem like the earth was shaped like a bowl. If you made it to the south pole, or the edge of the disk, falling back inward would be your big concern, or you could take one more step onto the edge, and stand normally... sideways.

Collective arts is probably my favourite Canadian Brewery. Aside from the one with the coriander, I have yet to find one I didnt like. Jam up the Mash is my favourite beer these days from anywhere.  But Jelly King isnt too far behind

So far I cant disagree with anyone - I'll take a Lagunitas pretty much any day, bottles are generally better (but less practical, and the store I typically buy my beers and favours cans), and I've never understood the love for Stella. It's drinkable.

You're about two clicks away from the largest compilation of arguments, past and present, that I'm aware of. You could try the wiki and the refs therein.

I don’t like Trump, but no need to mock his son’s health.

Yeah I mean that's the right sentiment, but at the same time, Don Jr. has been beyond complicit in ensuring the risk of Covid wasn't minimized at any point during the last 8 months.

I won't join in mocking, but I offer no sympathy either.

Hate to modify any of Gord's lyrics, but

"Everyone in town, now they'd probably all agree, [he's] lying in the bed [he] made"

My, oh my where do I even begin. Maybe a mod could move this over to a dedicated thread?

This is a nice demo of force generation for  the rockets / Newton's third discussion.

There is clear bias in that experiment. He only flashes the fans on for a second when the panels are not connected but then powers them to full speed when they are connected. Regardless of this, it doesn't prove that rockets work in space as the car is propelled by the air pressure build up behind the panels, hence the car is still pushing off air.

This response demonstrates nothing except your inability to understand the relations between Newtons third and rocketry.
