Like, c'mon man, you trawl some of the ugliest parts of the Internet to find your talking points. Surely you have some of these to share:

That's weird, because a lot of other people do care about the embarrassing headlines.
You deliberately missed out the entire context to misrepresent me. How typically dishonest of you.

I was talking about his verbal slips, you are talking about the resulting headlines which I didn’t even mention.

Yeah, those are related. Verbal slips create embarrassing headlines, so it's rather odd if you don't care about the verbal slips but care about the headlines.

Media outlets who would normally turn a blind eye to Biden's gaffes have turned against him. After Biden introduced Zelenskyy as "President Putin" at the NATO summit various mainstream outlets reported it in their headlines almost immediately - NYT, BBC, Politico, Washington Post, The Hill, Time, USA Today, etc.

NBC in specific seems to be making a special effort to disparage him on his fitness:

You guys are arguing that "he didn't really mean that", which is irrelevant. He is often incoherent and makes embarrassing statements. Biden's pronouncement that he is staying in the race and implying that he is coherently fit, while making such a gaffe, is almost on the level of the time he said "America is a nation that can be defined in a single word: Asufutimaehaehfutbw".

Hilarious, but sad. Biden's senility is the butt of jokes internationally. While the right has criticized Joe for years, the American leftist and centrist media establishment have recently begun actively throwing him under the bus. The Economist published a brutal July cover page.

https://www.economist.com/leaders/2024/07/04/why-biden-must-withdraw

"The presidential debate was awful for Joe Biden, but the cover-up has been worse. It was agony to watch a befuddled old man struggling to recall words and facts. His inability to land an argument against a weak opponent was dispiriting. But the operation by his campaign to deny what tens of millions of Americans saw with their own eyes is more toxic than either, because its dishonesty provokes contempt."

Biden was trying to say something "as clearly as I can" in defiance of the calls to step down because of dementia. It is especially embarrassing that he mucked that up.

This guy is a walking embarrassment to America. Here is another one from that same event:

What are you, the Biden Whisperer? I don't see a correction. In his full yelling and screaming speech he said that he's going to beat Donald Trump again in 2020, and then he said he's going to beat him again in 2024.

@4:49
guess what they're trying
to push me out on the race well let me
say this as clearly as I can I'm staying
in the race
I'll beat Donald Trump I will beat him
again in
2020 well by the way we're going to do
it again in
2024 I learned long ago when you get
knocked down you get back
up and I'm letting I'm not letting one
90 minute debate wipe out three and a half
years of work

In response to the critics asking him to step down because of his dementia-like issues, Biden has announced today that he's staying in the race and is going to beat Trump again in 2020.

It was CNN's fault. CNN's new debate format with muted mics worked against Biden. During the 2020 debates Biden was often saved from having to make a coherent non-scripted argument or response to a question because Trump would interrupt him. Remember that interrupt-a-thon? In the format of this recent debate with muted mics Biden was allowed to mumble and bumble without interruption.

Yes, it is untrue that "a lot of young women" are being raped by their sisters. I suspect that he forgot his complete line of thought in his sentence and just started listing random family members associated with a person.

Biden was so bad last night that he told women their sister might rape them, and that isn't even in the top 20 trending things he said or did.

Well, I'm not sure why you think the author of the video is lying about who the character is intended to be. The main character is also wearing a (unofficial) Flat Earth Society shirt that is fairly well known among the Flat Earth shirts.

It's the Flat Earth Society shirt featured on "Flat Earth: To The Edge and Back"

The video creator Garbage Musicals said it was a Flat Earth Society member. Do you have any evidence that the creator of the video is lying about who they intended the characters to be?

The fact that you guys had to post a video which starts with Trump in the middle of a story discredits your claim.

Biden's gaffs are a continual stream of national embarrassment.

O.o

Just curious... How would you not be in shark infeated waters with a normal boat sinking?  Do such boats magically save you from being in the water once the gas hits the ocean?

There would be multiple reasons to stay on or near a sinking boat. When a boat sinks there is often debris left in that spot which could act as a makeshift raft and provide some protection from nearby sharks. It is much smarter to stay near where the boat is sinking than to swim out to the sharks. It is also possible that the boat will topple over as it sinks and create an air pocket that prevents it from fully sinking, providing a surface you can climb up on.

And Trump's story is, once again, BS.

https://www.southernfriedscience.com/for-immediate-release-experts-respond-to-concerns-over-the-relative-risks-of-electric-boats-and-shark-encounters/

Like. Why would a boat sink because of a battery?  Yes its heavier but unless you just slap an EV battery  into a small boat, its not gonna matter much.  Boats displace water based on their weight.  So if you have a boat that can't handle an EV battery without sinking... You probably shouldn't be using the boat anyway.

Trump weighs 215lbs.
I grabbed the Breeze 20 for battery size.  15kwh.  Weight is around 450lbs.  (I couldn't find exact weight)

If your boat is gonna sink because an additional 2 donald trump's get on it... You need a bigger boat.

A 450lb EV battery isn't going to allow you to do much at sea. Practical battery-electric boats and ships essentially don't exist because of the battery size requirements. See this Quora thread "Why is it so hard to make a fully electric boat?" -

https://qr.ae/pslleC

"My Nissan Leaf has a 500 lb battery, and only provides the equivalent of about 2 gallons of gasoline, and that ignores the inherent efficiency of an electric motor compared to an reciprocating ICE.

For a boat to take a heavy load 30 to 1000+ miles, the boat might be too heavy to float. That includes cargo and container ships, cruise ships, longer ferry trips, etc."

https://qr.ae/pslq8i

"Batteries don’t work for anything more than a dinghy. Electric on the other hand does work - the below is the SX190 fuel cell design from Ulstein"

https://qr.ae/pslqNx

"Long range vessels must be hybrid, This is not a 3,200 lb/1450kg Prius…..no battery pack in the world can move tens of thousands of tons of ship, cargo, generate electrical power, cooking for aboard, heating and air-conditioning, navigational electronics including radar, steering multi-ton rudders, cranes and pumps for cargo, massive anchor winches and capstans for dock-lines, fire-fighting systems, etc. for long distances and may not for many generations to come. This means that it must support both diesel and electrical systems with the electrical losses inherent in changing one kind of power to another to drive propellers.

...

The poster who showed a photo of the Sweden to Copenhagen ferry (there are two) didn’t show you the size of the battery packs each the size of a tractor trailer (4 on top of the top deck: too big to store below and so high and heavy that it affects the ship’s stability by a percentage.) It is charged after every trip and the entire trip is only 2.2 nautical miles. This is not a long-range solution.

It was also NOT paid for by the ferry company but by government funding and a large amount by the electrical systems developers as a prototype to see if it could be used on other ships. On the plus side: It has been in daily service for 4-years BUT cost $31.9 million dollars ($36.4MM in 2022 money) to install on a ship that already had electric drive engines. That’s about the cost to build an entire new diesel ferry of the same size and capacity."

It's confusing because the video starts in the middle of a story he is telling. Try being more honest in your life.

He is talking about poorly built electric boats that barely stay afloat due to weight. The boat doesn't randomly sink in the story. They are prone to sinking and prone to possible electrocution. He is pointing out that there could be a situation in which you might be faced with jumping into shark infested waters or going down with the boat and risking electrocution. It isn't always feasible to distance yourself from the boat when it starts sinking. The all-electric boat adds more danger.
