Flat Earth Theory / Re: New model of the Universe.
« on: June 25, 2021, 11:41:44 PM »
Here is a link to the Canada Arm2 taking damage from an unknown object. There are risks being in space, from man-made junk or meteorites.
You know they do live interviews with astronauts.

The Earth's energy comes from heat deep underground the surface. The deepest we have drilled on record is about 7 miles at the Kola superdeep borehole. Boy that lava must be really deep. No one knows how deep because we can't stick a tape measure down there.

Flat Earth Investigations / Re: Cavendish experiment

They just cannot measure the gravity constant to the accuracy they would expect to be able to.  Plancks constant,  speed of light, pi.  Did he post anything about the shape of the Earth. Utterly ridiculous.  Fact: matter has three dimensions.  The inability to do math does not invalidate science.

Flat Earth Community / Re: Questions for flat earth

The Greys go back at least to 1890's.  The government covering up aliens is a one million percent more likely scenario than covering up a flat earth. The Earth has been discoverable as a habitable planet for 200-400 million years with plenty of oxygen and diverse lifeforms. If you give us another 1000 years, we definitely will be able to discover those planets in our galaxy that harbor life, but not necessarily travel to them.   An extreme space telescope that could directly image planets would totally be feasible.

Check all the scientific books from  the early 20th century. See if any of them describe a "flat earth".  Well before Nasa came along.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Why don't we see more solar eclipses?
« on: December 03, 2020, 04:50:49 AM »
Waiting on that next total solar eclipse in 2024, maybe have to travel 40 miles for totality.  Had nice front row seat for 2"42" of totality in 2017.  I had that on my calendar since 2002.  I should be around for the 2045 one too.,to%20solar%20eclipses%20as%20well.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Why the round earth hoax?
« on: November 21, 2020, 11:34:18 PM »
The only hoax here is people trying to convince others that the Earth is flat, when they know its obviously spherical.  This belongs on a an episode of Punk'd.  In the grand scheme of the universe, if you are a true flat earther, you need to get on the right side of history, otherwise you are destined to be erased from nature. We don't evolve backwards.

Let's see, if I wanted to learn about the body who would I consult?  A subject matter expert on the body: aka a Doctor.
If I wanted a subject matter expert on space, I'd consult an astronomer.
If I wanted a subject matter expert on rockets, I'd consult a rocket scientist. Yes we have these.

The Earth is spherical, science fact.  Just because you don't understand a science concept doesn't mean that isn't possible   Ask a scientist, do your research to understand physics, chemistry, biology.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: UA and Gravitational Time Dilation
« on: October 17, 2020, 02:14:58 AM »
Time dilation really matters for GPS, small errors in their clocks results in large errors is distance. You know for those satellites that orbit a spherical earth, to communicate with your car, smartphone, Garmin, etc.  The timescale difference is negligible for most other situations, particularly age, unless we get much faster.,see%20the%20Special%20Relativity%20lecture

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Where is the Sun?

Read up on the Parker Solar probe.    It gives real direct observation of the Sun.

Clearly the American education system is failing, and we are edging toward a situation like the movie "Idiocracy".  No one learns math and science the hard way like we used to, and the internet, while being a great source of information, also perpetuates misinformation.

I watched the entire video above and the only thing I agreed with was the depiction of proper attic ventilation.  I could not find anywhere in the FE Wiki what the Sun is made of.  Spectroscopically it is mainly hydrogen and helium.  How is nuclear fusion explained in a FE model, as fusion requires immense pressure and temperature?   The Bible was never meant to be taken literally, it is written as a story.
