When a link (for example, those that link to the most recently commented threads in the main page) is cut to make it fit, its usual to be able to hover the mouse to get a tooltip containing the full name of the thread. This would make a nice addition.

Most links like this have a "title" attribute specified, which should produce a tooltip on most browsers. Is this not the case for you? If so, could I ask what browser and OS you're using?

I run Windows 10 and MS Edge and it works with that.

Thank you, but I'm mostly curious about any potential cases where it doesn't work. I'd expect it to work almost everywhere by default.

I use the newest and most likely incompatible browser, so I was just helping you rule that one out. 8)
you may continue with your investigation.

After checking other browser, and another OS, it seems like that was my Chrome's fault, specifically under Win8.1, since it happens to all links in all pages. Close?
