Title: The Firmament
Post by: chuck on May 14, 2017, 03:03:44 PM
Ok, Me again, Just my thoughts.
I am not sure why FE people cannot see the obvious flaws in the models.
It does not work. YET, the truth is being hidden. We are being lied to. We are on a globe, but we have a firmament.
If you would consider this, it would all fit and work.
It would explain everything, and it is biblical.
Why is everyone stuck on the FE?  This is the real PSYOP. They are hiding the firmament. They are distracting you with the FE.
There is nothing in the bible that does not accept this configuration of a globe. The globe does not have to spin.
The curvature models are incorrect.
The Van Allen belts are not understood correctly.
We are all being distracted with the FE, and missing the truth.
Think about it. It will all fit.

Your opinions would be appreciated

The Bible isn't relevant to this FE community. While some members maybe religious, many are atheist or agnostic. The model doesn't need to cater to religion.

Well, I guess since the bible is not relevant and empirical evidence is not relevant on this forum. I will leave you to your devices, whatever they may be.

I'm not sure why you've constructed this strawman, but zeteticism is founded on empirical evidence. You obviously haven't done any research into the theory, so I will leave you to your own devices. Whatever they may be.

Hi Chuck,

I know plenty of Geocentric Roundies.
I used to be one myself not too long ago.
Nobody ever told me there was an alternative.

I think your really shooting yourself in the foot with that model.
Can't use any of the standard arguments for FE,
Why bother even defending it,

Nobody ever told you there was an alternative to GEOCENTRIC?!?!  What the hell kind of schools did you attend?  Nobody should be teaching geocentrism these days!

I came across this on another website.

Reply :"You're free to believe what you believe. There are some who still believe that the earth is flat."
Reply : "Haha . That's true."

Ha ha ha  :D

I was refering to the Geocentric models used in the Christian Forums I was involved with.
I believed the Geocentric Round Earth model before becoming Flat Earth. (That's all)
The Bible speaks of the earth as being fixed and immovable, I believe that to be true.
I don't know why more Roundy Geo's don't move to FET but they hate us just as much as everyone else does.
In fact, they are much more stubborn than your average joe, so there's no love lost there believe me.

A non-spinning (and therefore, by necessity, geocentric) Earth suffers far more problems than a Flat Earth model.   It's not a solution.

Geocentric systems that assume that the Earth rotates are a better fit for reality - but geocentrism still has problems when you consider things like our robotic missions to Mars and human landings on the Moon.   So even a rotating geocentric system requires all of the same sets of elaborate conspiracy systems involving space agencies around the world, astronomers, physicists of all kinds, etc, etc.

To base one's entire belief of how the universe works - and to presume so many millions of people around the world keeping their conspiracy "tight" over hundreds of years - all of which is to justify a few words in the bible that could easily be mistranslations or misunderstandings of the original writings...that does not make much sense.
