I'm just saying that you can't imprison someone with Secret Service protection.

That's not remotely true, especially for a high profile prisoner. Even if Trump were sentenced to "prison" it would likely end up a form of house arrest. Trump isn't going to go to some random state or federal prison. The Secret Service ensure Trump can't reveal things to people just as much as they protect him. Allowing a rambling old man who knows more national security information than most people into a prison is ridiculous.

Even cops have their own special protection and service personnel in prisons. I'd say Trump is quite a bit more high profile than random cops.

You're not wrong. I just think it's interesting that of all capeshit films, it's the R-rated psychological thriller with no action or explosions where its most enthusiastic fans quickly make it clear how young and inexperienced they are.

Joker's particular brand of edgy emo behavior is mental cocaine to teens and tweens alike. His "that feel when no gf",  "world is so mean to me for no reason" and "my job sucks" whining during the movie really hits it off with younger audiences. While, yes, there are deeper narratives in the film, those are the sorts of concepts younger audiences will identify with in the movie. It's a simple "he's literally me" movie for a lot of them. Especially since the end result is him rebelling against authority figures and lashing out.

Well it certainly makes perfect sense that the primary component of a movie's fanbase is the demographic that the entire genre is built around. It's sort of like being surprised that Transformer films are mostly viewed by teenagers as well.

I doubt it's Republicans switching. It's likely independents seesawing between Trump and Biden based on whatever the most recent headlines are.

The 2-way race now puts him at only 0.2 points ahead on average. The 5-way race is now 1.9 points ahead on average. Keep in mind that Trump has always outperformed his polling, including 2020.

The vaccine was a psyop to see who, when blasted with propaganda, would take the government's mandate at their word. Within a very short time period, a disease, which did not even exist, was propagandized to be highly dangerous, the most virulent disease ever, and if you don't take the vaccine you will get [long list of horrible side effects, including death].

To put it another way, the pandemic was a desert of the real. It was entirely virtual; invented by mass media. It didn't exist. It never happened at all. If you turned your television off and ignored the internet, it would be business as usual for you and anyone you know. It was the perfect test of media penetration. If we tell you something blatantly opposed to reality, how many people can we get to fall for it? As it turns out: practically every human being on the planet. What a glorious success.

Know someone who "got sick", my good golly, perhaps they even died? We already had a respiratory disease that did that, it was called the flu. It killed millions of people every year prior to 2020, but you didn't mind that too much, now did you? Not until a bunch of screens told you to mind it, that is.

tl;dr the pandemic did not take place, is not taking place, and will never take place.

I did all of the riddles and got the "true ending" of Arkham Knight. It wasn't worth it. The Riddler fight is meh.

I do like how they managed to find a way to let you murder every single Batman villain without lore implications on the part of Batman.

Yes. It's paper wealth in perhaps its most extreme form. Trump can't realize it and it's not going to help him pay his debts or cut any deals with financial institutions.

Ironically, this case proved he paid his debts to financial institutions. The fine is brought by the state claiming it was fraud to overstate the value of his property to the bank. The same bank that sent assessors to the property and accepted Trump's valuation of it. The debt to the bank is long paid off and they admitted they'd do business with him again.

This case is nothing more than government corruption. "For my friends, everything; for my enemies, the law."

I am annoyed that to fight the Riddler in Arkham Knight you have to do ALL TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY THREE of his stupid riddles on the map. Who the hell thought that was a good idea?

The core problem with a lot of open world games is that they have some extreme overarching storyline (e.g. the earth is about to collapse into a black hole!). Yet, the protagonist will often waste time doing some random nonsense on the world map, like delivering pizzas, solving a puzzle, or saving one single person from getting beat up.

As an example, one of the missions in Arkham Knight involves an ally being kidnapped and presumably tortured by a villain. However, Batman has no problem taking 10 minutes out of his day to solve some random riddle he found lying around the city. Obviously that's insane from a role-playing perspective, but open world games do this all the time; putting the player in a position where they can either pretend the main mission really is super duper important or they can ignore it to do the secondary story content. It always gives me a weird form of anxiety where I feel like I should be doing the important stuff instead.

$4.5 billion, per his claim, could cough up the money.

Practically no one has the cash on hand to pay 11% of their net worth to settle a civil suit. Further, it makes very little sense to get upset at someone for overstating their net worth, then fine them more money than you know they can afford (because you were upset at them for overstating their worth!).

It's an obvious attempt to make Trump look bad and it was a huge waste of time. The only thing this case has done to Trump's support is cement his narrative that the "deep state" is out to get him.
