Ice Wall: My Rudimentary Knowledge
« on: October 14, 2018, 01:20:46 AM »
So after perusing the forums, I see the same recurring idea: that the poles (or pole, or you will,) of our "flat" earth is wrongly named. Instead, a large ice wall blocks us from literally falling off the edge of the Earth. How would this level of extreme cold temperature be maintained so that the ice does not melt? Doesn't global warming (a theory I support 5/10 times) affect it? Has anyone been able to prove the existence of this? IF this ice wall is real and proven, does anyone have exact measurements of how large and close this would be (to any landmark)? Is there anything preventing us from going past this wall? Do all flat-earthers support the ice wall theory?

And just a crazy idea I pulled out: what if NASA is real, but they are just exiting the restraints of this ice wall?

I'd like someone to debunk or at least provide evidence for these questions. I only believe what I can see, touch, and calculate mathematically to be correct. I know there are quite a few scholars on this site so I'd like to see some evidence and reasoning.

NOTE: I am a general supporter of the round earth theory, please don't start ragging me out, I'm not pretending to be a scientist or an expert in any way. Just a person curious about some theories. If you would like to write me a strongly worded message, not here. Anywhere BUT here.

My name is sarcastic, don't bite me!

I was honestly hoping for the hollow perspective. D’oh well.
Here are the current maps, and flat theorists have not yet agreed on a winner
https://wiki.tfes.org/Flat_Earth_Maps
There is also the infinite repeating plane one, which I don’t think has an ice wall.
That one confuses me, but so do the others.

Anyway, the ice wall is sometimes called Antarctica, which means that it’s coast is the rim. I’m never quite sure why that was chosen as the edge apart from its difficulty to travel on a long time ago.
Anyway, there are quite a lot of pictures of the ice shelf, which serve as pictures of the ice wall.
I don’t know how to prove a wall mathematically.

You should read the FAQ. We do not claim that the Ice Wall is stopping you from falling off anything.

Would an ice wall not block the flow of the ocean's water?
Lest it pour over the edge, taking hollow earther away in his... Dirigible?

It would prevent someone falling off, that was the rest of my post.

I am repeating myself, but felt it was clarified.
Wait, I think a dirigible is a balloon, had thought it a boat. Let’s go with... Peddle-boat. That’ll never fly.
