Okay so the answers to so many questions on this site is that evidence of a round Earth is that it is faked for a government cover-up or that scientists are hiding the truth etc. Why is this? If they know that the Earth is indeed flat, then why can't they share the information? Is it for a sense of enlightenment among flat earthers? I just don't understand how the instant answer to real proof is that it is faked to cover it up.
This is why any image or similar is (indeed must be) declared fake. If even a single image from space showing a spherical Earth is real, then there is no FET. As such ALL of them must be labeled as fake as a matter of course. From the live feed from the ISS, to the Himawari 8 sat, to the Apollo images, and even the videos of astronaughts (or cosmonaughts, or whatever a country names them) floating in space, or going on repair missions outside of the sat.
As for the actual why of the conspiracy itself? The claim is for/about military dominance. But that seems a little weird with all these private companies getting into things nowadays. The second tends to be about the money. But once again, seems a bit odd with all these private companies getting involved. Remember though, the claim is there's no conspiracy to hide the shape of the Earth. The claim is strictly that space travel doesn't actually exist. This seems to ignore the long time period before space flight where a round Earth was the de facto model, and how many people must have known in some way that it wasn't actually round but are never recorded to have said anything. This ignores the fact that the flat view was in fact superseded by the round view by facts and information presented long before modern technology was developed. Lastly, whether they knowingly understand it or not, this is making the claim that not only is the Earth flat, but everything has essentially 'conspired' together to make it all appear exactly as it would if the Earth was a sphere. Quite the coincidence, no?
