Midpoint visual photos
« on: December 29, 2015, 08:29:05 AM »
Hello flat earthers and sceptics. I'm new to this and still very much on the fence. Can someone explain why some long distance photos over large lakes show buildings that you can only see the top half of? Surely if there was no curvature you'd be able to see the street level. I have seen a number of photos on here that do show the Base of the buildings from long distance. Any thoughts?

I think this is because of the vanishing points in perspectives.
Just like the two parallel lines seems to meet at distance (as in railway tracks) as you look to the distance towards horizon, parts below the line of sight becomes invisible. But it will be visible if you use a zoom lens. If there is a curvature, it will be invisible even with a zoom lens
