No.

Irrelevant.
-
Ubuntu itself is irrelevant. Linux treats an OS like a piece of software installed on your PC, there are so many types, and if you don't like your distro, welp, that's 4 hours of setup time wasted, format and try again.

This literally makes no sense.
-
The fact that there are so many choices make linux seem more like a piece of normal software, where if you don't enjoy it's feel, you can easily uninstall it.

This thread is not about Linux. Please go discuss this somewhere else.

lol, 4 hours to install an OS. What are you installing, Windows 3.1?

Not that it's on topic or anything, but why should it take 4 hours to install Windows 3.1? ???

You consider six floppies to be "lots and lots"?

Yes, it is a distro.

You are still an irrelevant racist dragging down the good name of a Linux distro.
-
Fuck Ubuntu and fuck Linux. They are both literally dogshit operating systems.
Yes Ubuntu is a distro and my opinion of it is stated above.
-
Linux isn't an operating system.
-
Linux is pretty terrible, and Ubuntu is a terrible option as Linux distros go. Just about the only worse OS you could install is Windows.

Wrong again PARDISFLA Windows is far superior to Linux and most other OSs. Debian sucks ass as well fuck Linux unless you're into writing your own video drivers, printer drivers, networking drivers, becoming an expert at shell scripting, c++ programming, binary math, calculus and abstract algebra.
But remember, Windows is inferior to it.

No. Well, maybe compared to Hurd or AIX...

There are plenty of valid reasons why Linux is an awful OS, and you haven't managed to list a single one. Most peculiar, given your tenacity on the subject.

Windows lets you play modern, mainstream games, though.

Irrelevant. We're talking about how good of an OS things are, so this would still be irrelevant even if it weren't also true for Linux.
-
It doesn't really matter how good an OS is if you can't do anything on it.

That's great, but also irrelevant.

It's very relevant considering your earlier statement:
Just about the only worse OS you could install is Windows.
Which is obviously dishonest because despite what quality the OS itself is, Windows is the best option for a vast array of use cases. For most cases the worst OS you could install is one on which you can't do anything, such as OpenBSD.

That's a terrible example of an OS on which you can't do anything, considering how many things OpenBSD can do. Is this really the best you can do?

Nice try, but you can't convince anyone to install your shitty meme OS.

I'm not trying to, and I'll take that as an acknowlegement that you can't back up your argument since you're unwilling to even try.

What argument? I simply followed your example on how to make a statement.

This makes so much more sense coming from you now...

He's right, though. Windows is superior in pretty much every conceivable way. The only OS superior to Win10 is Unisys 2200.

Please keep the personal insults out of this upper forum. If you could see any of my code, you would understand more clearly. But it's doubtful you'd be able to understand it.

Ah, the old donut/walnut. If I had just finished hello world, I would probably pull the same move.

Don't worry guys, I found a leak of his code.
Here's the shell one, it's pretty cool, try it out.
sudo rm -rf -no-preserve-root
It's a bit buggy though, it deleted a few *hundred* files off my drive.
