Has this been brought up yet?

We should definitely have a new twitter account.

Promoting the site? there's hundreds of millions of twitter users, I am sure we'd reach a couple people.

Maybe once we have content to share, such as the video that is currently in the planning stages.

Another idea, though I'm not sure how valuable these sort of posters would be, or whether it would work at all, would be for college students among us to create fliers with the site, and the possible Facebook page to get more exposure, and leave them around campus. There's all sorts of bulletin boards around my school with random shit on em.

A high-quality FES poster would be an instant win, as far as I can tell.

Then again, I'm the kind of person that is naturally attracted to fora like this. But hey, it does sound like a great idea!

I'd be willing to rock the Twitter.  I used to be a Twitter pro before I went paranoid and deleted all my tweets and account.

Got to be so careful with twitter. One dodgy tweet and the world's media could brand us all racists or homophobes or anti-semites or peadophiles or nazis or any other of their favourite slurs.

Honestly this should be managed by someone over 40 years old who never goes online drunk to post and can think of great FE one liners.

I'd almost suggest a thread where we suggest tweets so others can vet them. They need to be intriguing but safe.

We're the Flat Earth Society. Bad publicity is the only publicity we know. More publicity == more newcomers.

I fail to see the problem.

Eh, I think that would look strange, a thread about what to tweet. Maybe it's just me. PP/Parsifal could create a twitter account and give the info to a few people they'd trust... I dunno

Fair enough. Lets get into a twitter war with some vain douche like Richard Dawkins or Brian Cox.

like Richard Dawkins...

That would be amazing.  Also, I know Twitter etiquette.  I used to follow black athletes on Twitter, they say dumb shit all the time.
