Last week I was in a country at 52 degrees and could see the waves ‘hitting’ an oil platform 13 km away from the coast and several ships ‘head-to-toe’.
Today I went to the beach in a different country at 38 degrees with my Vanguard Endeavor HD 20-60x82 Spotting Scope.
The sky was clear and blue, the sun shining. A perfect day for spotting long-distance objects.
The beach has the shape of the greek small letter omega (ω).
There are five markers. Three rocks, the distance between the two at both sides is 4,7 km and 1 rock more or less in the middle.
There is an island, a big rock, 3,5 km away from the beach.
25 km away you can see the buildings of a town which are about 75 meters high.
I did several observations. The spotting scope 10 cm above the ground (beach/rocks), 20 cm, 50 cm and 1 m, 1,5 and 2 meters.
The scope 10, 20 and 50 cm above the ground I saw a flag floating on the water 4 km away, a small yellow buoy (ball) 3.8 km away, a child standing on the beach almost in the water 4 km away.
With bare eyes I could see the bow water of a ship sailing further away than the Island about 5 km away. With the spotting scope easy to see.
I saw a zodiac on the water through the looking glass, I could not see with my bare eyes. It was at least 6 km away.
Several sailboats and bigger ships 10 km away and further. They were visible ‘bottom up’.
The bottom of the high buildings 25 km away could be seen with the spotting scope.
These and several other observations at different points indicate that there is a case for Flat Earth.
I don’t expect you to believe me that I really did these observations.
You can refute the results if you wish.
For me it’s the starting point for more thoroughgoing research.
