Suggestions & Concerns / Re: How is Jroa Still a Mod?
« on: December 15, 2013, 08:30:17 PM »
How do I add someone to my ignore list? It looks like he's already done it so I can't see his posts anymore, but I'd like to know for future reference at least.

If he doesn't want to be a mod then he can tell an admin if he so chooses.  An opinion expressed in a "private" message is not something I am going to hold against anyone when it wasn't intended for everyone to read.
His public posts say the same thing.

Is there a way to block him? I just want him to leave me alone privately and publicly.

After his insulting and sexist rant in People who think you fancy them when you don't. thread I tried messaging him. All I said was that I didn't appreciate his behavior in general toward me and that I thought it would be best if we kept a distance on the forum, but I think he broke.

Yes, I lived in TN for 3 yrs. Clarksville. I hated it, except for Nashville. Nashville was big enough to have 4 synagogues & a whole shtetl. Outside of that, it was brutal being anything other than SBC. But the shtetl was great.
Yeah, Nashville is pretty diverse. It has the largest Kurdish population in America for example. I don't know how the Jewish population is though.

Nope, SC. We're the stereotypical gun waving people with the confederate flag bumper stickers. At least some of us.
So is TN.

My state is pretty much the model of pro gun support (probably pretty close to Texas) and I guess that influences me into supporting gun rights. I have no interest in having a gun of my own, but I honestly feel safer knowing a large percentage of adults have a gun.
TN?

Because I think he is. I might come back to this later but it's the end of the quarter and I'm really busy at work doing lots of over time.

Speaking of which, King Louis XIV is so much more interesting than King Henry VIII.

And it's also not as easy as just leaving. Sometimes the abuse is so psychological that they can't bring themselves to leave, are too scared the man will stalk/more severely hurt her if she does leave, or believe they deserve the abuse.

Most European states did, & did their best to keep weapons out of the hands of the general pop. A thing much remarked on by foreigners was how in the world Henry could, even @ the height of feeling against him, could go out in public w/ only a very light guard, & not be fearful. No Continental monarch would have ever considered it!
Because he was insanely egotistical.

It still completely blows my mind that you play Kingdom Hearts. This is the only time I'll say this but Rushy, you're adorable.

Hmm, I never played NV DLC. I didn't like that one as much as Fallout 3. Are you going to play FO3 DLC?

I'm asking for a PS2 for Christmas. I really miss that console.

That's terrible, of course kids would fall for something like that. Why the fuck did Microsoft leave that accessible.

It's 4chan, if people take anything said seriously over there then they deserve the lesson.
Completely agree, I didn't realize it was from 4chan.

It can be very useful to geeks, which I would imagine will be a significant demographic among xbone users. Most products leave developer mode accessible as long as you find the obscure key combination to activate it.
Really? What can you do with it?

It's just a potential problem of having to replace mods. It's not that I think they'll sabotage this site or anything.

They ARE decent moderators on the old forum.

To me that just means they're not taking this forum seriously. It's not a problem per se, but if they decide to just stick with the other forum then you'll have to replace them. And what happens if the other forum starts to pick up traffic?

It just seems like a conflict of interest to me.

Regardless, jroa and Gayer are still active. Their heart is not in the split.
