Hello. I am new here. I am interested in the flat earth based on youtube videos and conversations with others. But I have to get over one thing. I just cruised from Miami to the Virgin Islands. And on the ship my whole family could see the curvature of the earth. They commented on it many times. I saw it myself. If the earth is flat how could we see the curvature of the earth on a ship with our eyes. I am not talking about pictures with a camera. We saw the curvature with our eyes.

What do you say about that?

Your eyes are deceiving you. Even if the Earth were round, it would not be possible to detect curvature from a ship. A quick search will show you that, assuming RET, you'd have to be tens of thousands feet up to discern any curvature.

Its true, you can't even see curvature from a plane.

Yeah no. It would appear flat. The Earth is huge. You probably need to be at least 60k feet in the sky to see slight curvature.

As the others were saying your eyes are daceving you. Even if you were abel to see a curvachur it wouldent be the curvachure of the earth it would be the circel of sunlite on the part of the earth thats day
