They seem to have been removed from the new theme. Can they be added to the forum once again?

I'm not sure what you're talking about. Boards and threads do have post and view counters, they're just not present on mobile view in order to save horizontal space.

I'm guessing hoppy is talking about the view counter that would appear when you actually opened a thread in tintagel_fes, as well as in the CN theme.

I am almost always on my phone, so I don't see the counters.

Well, I hardly can cram those counters into the limited horizontal space phone screens have without forcing the user to zoom or scroll horizontally, which is exactly what you should not have to do on a mobile-optimised site. I'm obviously going to prioritise usability over a minuscule amount of information.

I agree with blankman. The mobile theme is great compared to having to zoom in to read posts. However, if it could be done in a way to not compromise the theme, and identification of mods an admins would be cool

I didn't even notice post counts were gone in the mobile version until now. I think the current mobile design is pretty good.
