OSU does have one of the best defenses in the nation, they just weren't very present against Michigan.

I'd just like to report that it looks great on my computer.  It does not cover anything.

I'm on my phone at the moment and I haven't figured out how to screenshot on a Galaxy Xpress. I'll check it on my computer tonight.  It could just be a size issue on my phone.

Nice logo. It does cover part of the news message at the top though.

I thought the 06 game was more due to a ratings grab and the fact that people had just watched that same game.  There is talk that Bama could still go if Auburn and OSU lose, instead of Missouri going.
That being said, I think they have had enough backlash over those effed up championship game selections that they don't want to make themselves look terrible with selections on the verge of a shift to a playoff.

The BCS is heavily SEC biased.  I doubt they would repeat the mistake of leapfrogging an undefeated team with a one lose team.

I just finished "The Moral Landscape: How Science Can Determine Human Values" by Sam Harris.  I found it to be quite illuminating but those that know Sam Harris' beliefs can likely just watch his Ted Talk on the same topic.

Maybe after we get some more regulars/traffic we can actually start up a monthly or quarterly club to discuss a specific book if people are into that idea.

I would be in to this.

I didn't care for "The Moral Landscape" at all. I agreed with everything he was saying, but his arguments didn't seem very well laid out.
I thought he took too long explaining why we can scientifically look at morals.  I lost interest in the book rather quickly.

MSU's offense is extremely lacking.  Their game against Nebraska should have been a blow out with how many times Nebraska just handed them the ball at the 40 or better.  I don't think they have what it takes to compete with OSU.

I was bringing up the lawsuit aspect as an example of why a corporation should be considered an individual entity in and of itself, not as a reason for any religious protections.

Corporations run nothing like governments.  There is nothing that runs like a government except another government.  Why shouldn't a corporation be counted as a person when they can have a lawsuit filed against them like a person?  Corporations are set up to protect their owners from liability, with the company taking on that liability instead.  If the company can assume liability and be sued, they should be considered an individual in legal terms.

Yeah, OSU really is pretty out of place in the Big 10.  There hasn't been a whole lot of quality out of it for a while.  So long as their defense steps up their game a little bit, I think they can hold MSU to 2 TDs and maybe a field goal.

Fair enough, but they still need to put up a better performance against Michigan St than they did Michigan.  Granted Michigan St has a terrible offense.  When you can't score 50 points against Nebraska when they hand you the ball on their side of the field every other possession, there is something wrong with your offense.

I hope that they win, I really do.  I'm a Big 10 fan.  Florida St is just a seemingly unstoppable beast at the moment.

As far as I know, the only thing these types of stores are asking for is exemption for the birth control mandate due to conflicts with their religious views.  They aren't asking for the tax breaks of nonprofits, nor would they receive them because they are not nonprofits.  The question really because, does the owner's religious views translate to the business.  This is obvious for sole proprietors, not so obvious for corporations.

Would it be bothersome to have the CMS on flatearthsociety and the forum on tfes?  This would also achieve the goal of the CMS ranking on Google easily right?

I did like the idea of having one semi-serious forum which was hidden from view from prying eyes.  There are certain DND agreements which are beneficial to other members if they are broken.  A hidden forum would help these disclosures from being discovered (however unlikely it is that this forum would be browsed over).
