Can the FEW link be configured to spawn a new tab? I am lazy and don't like to have to right-click and do it myself.I have a feeling that if we do that, we'll get people asking us to make it stop doing that.
One dodgy tweet and the world's media could brand us all racists or homophobes or anti-semites or peadophiles or nazis or any other of their favourite slurs. We're the Flat Earth Society. Bad publicity is the only publicity we know. More publicity == more newcomers.
Another idea, though I'm not sure how valuable these sort of posters would be, or whether it would work at all, would be for college students among us to create fliers with the site, and the possible Facebook page to get more exposure, and leave them around campus. There's all sorts of bulletin boards around my school with random shit on em.A high-quality FES poster would be an instant win, as far as I can tell.
Nice logo. It does cover part of the news message at the top though.Could you post a screenshot? I thought I had fixed that.
I'll try my hand at writing! The about blurb and page are about the society, no? And the third bullet is for the site? I just want to be clear on the parameters. This site is made by the people, for the people. Write whatever you think will do the society and site justice.
What is the source for that? It could work, but I don't want to post random copypasta onto our new homepage with no citation.I believe this has been written by Chris Spaghetti, but that was before my time, so I might be ultra wrong.
Because this went so well last time.Civ V has hot join mode now. It won't let you host a proper dedicated server, but I wouldn't mind running my laptop 24/7 to act as the host. As such, we could play this in a similar fashion to Conquer Club.
Uh oh, admin drama.Oh, nah, I just assumed this must have been a mistake, so I did stuff without consulting Parsifal. Just a bit too hasty of me.
