Democracy is bunk anyway. I am a communist and if I had my way there wouldn't even be an election.  I will double check my pms again later anyway.

But if a rule was put in place where we can not quote a pm then the ability to quote it in 1 click should be removed too.

Im just easy going, like you stated I just volunteered to handle to votes and get things moving.

It seems there is a split here; those who are fully on the ball like yourself and those who are quite confused and the same questions are being asked. 'We' could go on indefinitely back and forth.
Id like to see the council that the people voted for, now show some ideas and an agenda and try to show those who seem confused what the point is.

I asked Parsifal to verify the votes by reading my pms but he said he didnt want to invade my privacy. You do have a clear record if you wish to view it and you have my permission to do so. The were rules for voting posted in this thread in the OP. I did this as a 3rd party with no interest in the results. I did not even vote myself. I thought this way would be better than a poll.
We should simply scrap the whole thing if there is too much disagreement.
I will leave the rest to those who want to push this further. People voted and it was fair and honest. It is quite clear what the next step is as it has been said quite a few times already.

There shouldnt be a rule about posting pms. If its such an issue remove the quoting.

We need to add something about a NASA conspiracy in this thread so Tom sees it.

Thanks for submitting votes, if you see that the maths might be off its because not everyone voted for 3 people and some votes were changed after people saw that admins did not want to take part.
We can now get to grips of what this council will be doing and sort the details.

The voting closes tonight. If you still want to have a vote there is plenty of time still. Even those who are not so keen, it would be better to have your input now rather than complaining about not voting at a later date.

75
Yeah it would be needed. Even if it was tempary during elections. I'd like it to be visable to people who have a so called right to vote too. I mentioned previously that there is no stopping a catearththeory joining with his army of noobs and getting votes. That would not be good. There def should be a good solid structure when this happens again. It's good to get this underway swiftly for now. But next time it should have more structure.

76
I'm not gonna say who wants who but I don't think people are just voting for friends. We moved here to make a better society and I think those who have voted are doing so honestly.

Just relax I think we need to set a council up to aid the idea of what they should do. Are people worried they will have power over the forum? Because that's not the idea. Their work should be mostly external to spread the FES about and to talk with new posters and promote the FES.

77
Perhaps I should just delete all the threads then. If e wry person who wasn't nominated is just going to complain then we shouldn't do this. I was only willing if there was no objections but clearly there is.

The less rules the better. The shorter the better. Then if a rule isnt broken as such but the poster is obviously not good for the site, then mods should use their initiative.

79
I still have about 4 votes that need to be changed too. Sorry I forgot to remove them.

80
Hahaha you are. Go to flat earth general and read what it says there XD
