Is there any way we can dely the sign-out process while someone is writing a post? Or at least save the post as a draft once a person signs back in?
-
When logging in, you can tick the box "always stay logged in" if you don't want the forum to log you out. As for restoring your draft, you can log back in in another tab, and then use your browser's back button in the original tab to go back to the new post page — most web browsers these days will save the content of the text fields.

Okay, that sounds good thank you.

When I remember, after sweating over one of my long, rambling rants, I copy and paste the text to my clipboard before posting, just in case I've been logged out.

I do that to. It also helps with spell check, which I don't think Is a feature here?

In chrome and firefox, when I hit preview or post, (If log-in time is expired) it'll shoot me over to the log-in screen, log-in, it takes you to an empty post box, hit the back button a couple of times, you land on your previous written non-previewed/non-posted post, hit preview or post and you're all set.
Also, at log-in, you can specify the number of minutes you stay logged in. I think. Maybe that's the other site.

Why would it need to be? Your browser can already spell-check text input fields.

Edit: I made sure spell checker is on for windows 10 by going to Settings - Devices - Typing - and clicking on the spell check options. I can get a small box with recommended words but only if you scroll over each word and its not helpful.
Stack - the back button doesn't help me either :(
It's okay though, I have other options as you guys pointed out.

I have windows 10 but I don't have spell check. Or the back option that Stack described. Is there a setting I can change? I'm okay without it..
Your browser doesn't have a back button? You don't have one of these:

Stack your right... The Back button will retrieve your draft before and after you login again.
