Now we all know Mr. Hughes. He made a homemade rocket and launched himself 1,875 feet (not even a mile) into the hair and saw the "flat horizon and concluded earth is flat. Now. I respect him and all but. The height you need to reach to see the curvature of the earth is 35,000 ft (about 6.5 miles) So. How to people conclude that the earth is flat from his experiment? I am LEGITIMATELY curious and would like a response and NOT to be moved to angry ranting or complete nonsense. I'm just providing facts and asking a completely legitimate question.

"Australia doesn't exist" has been something of an inside joke among FE'ers for many years.

I suppose it is possible that someone does seriously believe it, but I find it highly unlikely.

We believe Australia isn't real because it isn't real.

If the Sun rises and sets, that would mean the earth would have to be facing vertically, right? What about your theory of gravity. Ya know. It being the upwards acceleration of the Earth? If the Earth is vertical there are periods of no upwards acceleration. If the Earth was horizontal there would be no upward acceleration AT ALL cause of how it's orbit is

Okay, anyone willing to respond without invoking conspiracy? There's some basic science at work here. You can see it. Last summer it got so warm down in Arizona that plastic mailboxes melted. Plastic melts at at 100-255 degrees Celsius (212-491 degrees if your country is stupid) depending on the type of plastic. A minimum of 100 degrees Celsius. The air was nearly boiling! That isn't just any ordinary weather, It's climate change. So please, answer the question. Still excited to hear a response.

Note the actual world record was set in 1913 ... when barely anyone used cars, jet aircraft didn't exist, the world population wasn't as large and manufacturing wasn't as prolific. Stick that up Al Gore's backside and smoke it.
