Tom, how is anyone supposed to take you seriously on the Flat Earth when you post even more crazy loony conspiracy theories such as this?

Also, whatever crappy thing the dems may/may not be guilty of, nothing compares to what Trump has actually done and is actually doing - yet somehow he gets a free pass? Give me a break.....

This is why partisanship absolutely sucks. People lose their objectivity. And politics has become so polarized in recent years that people no longer care about rules, truth or fair play - whatever it takes to get your 'team' to win. Democracy be damned.

« on: January 10, 2019, 04:14:05 AM »
A lot of the people coming through are economic migrants.

Make it simply impossible to get any form of employment, money, housing or schooling, healthcare without being a verified legal citizen. Why would someone seeking a better life from Central America want to go to America if they could never get employment, buy/rent a house, send their kids to school etc. The economics would no longer be worth it. Take the sugar off the table!

Businesses or landlords that engage in exploiting illegals should face penalties so steep it would never be worth it.

This also has the added benefit of deterring illegal visa over stayers which is apparently more people than those crossing the border on foot.

Maybe you guys have that and it doesn't work? Or maybe you will be adopting that kind of system? Regardless, the wall essentially was mandated by the people when Trump won office.

To me the idea of the wall would give a false sense of security. It would have to be higher than any ladder or rope, have to be deeper than any tunnel could be dug. Almost everyone other than Trump and his xenophobic base seems to think it would be useless as far was border security goes. It only presents one entirely surmountable obstacle to a desperate asylum seeker economic migrant

So no response defending the idea that US cops are militaristic.
US Police are, for the most part militaristic.

Once police were removed from a walking beat patrol of the streets and placed in a squad car and behind a set of sunglasses, it has, for the most part, become more normalized for even police to view themselves this way.

What's the deal with sunglasses? If you're going to be out in the sun all day, especially without a hat, of course you're going to wear sunglasses.
Nothing if it is sunny and they are required.

But many police i have seen maintain the glasses on approach even when conducting official business.

IMO, that is rude and unprofessional.

Do you take off your sunglasses when talking to police? What specific official business are you referring to?

I take of my sunglasses personally when I talk to anyone. It's simple courtesy. No power play

American police: Literally shooting anyone with a gun, even a 2nd amendment loving citizen in uniform.

We don't know the details to make any conclusions of it.

Yeah we do.
Crazy gunman opened fire in a bar.  Security guard with a gun pins him and holds a gun to his head.  Cops show up and kill the security guard, who was wearing his uniform.

Its literaly in the article linked.  What else are you suggesting, the cops were told the gunman wore a security officer uniform?

We don't what did the guard did with his firearm or if the officer gave warnings or if he saw the uniform.

Is it standard practice for police to fire on a person without verifying the target?

Here is Thai police. Imagine the outcome if in America!

Luke, what's the protocol for American police if someone comes in their station screaming with a knife? Your colleague gunned down an aussie woman for approaching the police car after calling for help after all!

Tell me that's not a tear jerker!

Luke is a policeman. Part of his job requires him to make excuses for his murderous colleagues.

Sorry, thought I put it in.

Its in now

Was I watching the Acosta show? What a dick. Constantly interrupting the presidents responses and would not shut up even when the president tried to move on to another person. It seemed he was given plenty of time but just thought to whine on and on

Good on Trump for calling this moron out and I don't blame him from revoking his access.

The journo should be asking questions, not debating the president

What if the president avoids answering?  Should journalists just go "yes sir" and sit down?
Would you have accepted that from Obama or Hillary?

He a politician. Name me one which has ever been straight and upfront

This CNN dick must have been born yesterday to not have expected it.

You too

Dave since when are Indians Africans? (Never, they arent.) Indians are Caucasians.

I know Islam is a religion. I stated what would be the most common race and religion in America in 100 years according to UN population estimates.

I intend to respond properly when I have time.

Edit. Calling me a racist doesn't debunk the facts and history I have presented here.
You asked for an example of when Euros were kicked out of a country and it was fine.  I picked India.
If you only want me to choose African nation's then I am no expert on them but I do know that they have their own unique set of problems that European colonization did not help.

India's a bloody basket case! Only need to look at how women are treated and the amount of 'honour killings' that go on. Not to mention the millions upon millions in poverty.

Speaking of 'white' rule I also believe the people in Hong Kong are going to miss being overseen by the British pretty soon. If you want to look at the effects of white rule, look back to Hong Kong vs mainland China in the 60s in the days of Mao Zedong.

I wonder if we go back a few years to Obamas mid term election and the massive loss he suffered I wonder how the MSM were writing those up

Actually, lets go back to all the mid terms. How many Presidents have actually scored better as a result of them?

If the dems win, hopefully the demonstrate the so called 'maturity' they champion and work with the President on matters of national importance instead of just blocking everything going 'F U LOLOLOLOL'

I personally think its normally good when one party has to work with another to pass legislation - that way it it caters for much more peoples interests. In practice though, bi-partisanship is rarely practiced and oppositions block for opposition sake - especially in the age of social media and popularism. ALL political parties and sides are guilty of it

I understand the irony of saying I don't want to call it too early, especially in this thread. However it really does look like Republicans will keep the house.
More seats won, more republicans leading. It would be a massive upset if the dems flipped the house at this point.

Hopefully they take a good long hard look at their policy.

It's funny seeing the news still try and play that it's looking 'grim' for Trump. Just how long do they want to be in denial and perpetuate fake news? No matter how many times you say something, facts wont lie. MSM is about to get a painful lesson in humility

Now if things stay on course as they do, it will simply exonerate Trump and destroy MSM even among the most brainwashed

extreme right and extreme left are united in hate. There is little difference. If the problem in society is that it is too far 'one way' you don't correct it by swinging the pendulum so hard in the other way. But that seems to be how people think you deal with it

Being centre wont make everyone happy, but it makes for balance.

On some issues and ideals I am right of centre and some others I am left of centre. I try to look at things objectively and realistically, rather than idealistically. At the end of the day as much as I loathe Hillary Clinton, I fully supported peoples right to vote for her, just as I supported peoples choice to vote for Trump. While I might pay out the 'leftists or leftards' I never on a personal level scoff or look down at someone because of who they vote for. If you are a fan of democratic and fair elections than you will never publicly shame or ostracize someone for their vote. That's something dictatorships do when they hold fake elections they make sure they will win.

This all said, this is a flat earth forum. Any dignity you may have had was left at the door before you came in so another reason I can give you SJW the shite kicking you deserve!!!  ;D

Here's another, why did no congressmen actually change their political parties during the supposed party platform switch? Surely, everyone would have magically swapped sides?

How can you still believe "political parties magically swapped and that's why anything bad that the Democrats did wasn't actually us".

Was McCarthy actually a Democrat, then? Good, because you can have him.
So, if we're going to talk about political parties throughout history, it is important to contextualize for era. There's no sudden "platform switch" where the two parties meet in a smoky room and decide to swap stances. Hell, that's not really how political parties work. Think more "loose ideological alignment" and less "set of firm stances and policies". Generally, we break the history of US political parties into six different eras. See below:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Party_System
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Party_System
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third_Party_System
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_Party_System
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fifth_Party_System
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sixth_Party_System

Given the context of the debate and your avatar and username, I will not disagree with this  :P

It's funny how replacing the word "White" with "Jewish" changes things. Isn't it?

Why?

Is it context?

Yeah context matters for sure. Something you seem tone deaf to. I don’t like what Don Lemon said, but I also have enough critical faculty to see that the crux of the matter is to determine what is meant by “radicalized”. Is it anyone who thinks it’s ok to be white, like you and I? If so, then yeah Don Lemon is putting out some scary propaganda. If he means people like the skinheads in Charlottesville, then it’s a different thing. I’d still disagree with him because I think radicals, full stop, are dangerous and that singling our white people would take a lot more justification.

Going full Godwin’s law on me doesn’t make you look smart of insightful though. At least not to me and probably not to many others other than those who already agree with you. If that’s all you care about, then bully for you, but if you want to make the world better you should care about more than high-giving Boots.

You do realise it's not the colour of the skinheads skin that makes them a dick, but that they are simply dicks right? Skin colour has ZERO to do with the quality of someone character. People should stop labeling and boxing people based on their appearance and do it more on their behaviour

Also, Boots is awesome

NPC 1: But it was actually Democrats who were fighting and sacrificing even though they were called Republicans.  (Four legs good two legs better! I read it in my NPC history book!)
Not what I said Fake News.  The man clearly said conservative and meant Republicans but Republicans of that era were liberals.  They were closer to modern day Democrats.

So fuck off ya troll.

Democrats still want slaves though. That's not very  'liberal'.  ::) They just figured a neat way to score them where the slaves actually think they have it good

And Clinton true to democratic ideals ensured more Africans would be sold as slaves (just not in America)

I used to troll a lot

Especially when those Nigerian scam emails flooded your inbox back in the day. BOY did I have fun with some of those losers!

I think trolling is fine as long as you not a sadistic POS telling people they should drink bleach or whatever.

As for myself on sibling incest? I dont think the government should concern itself with what 2 consenting adults get up to in their bedroom  :P

Wow, that navy seal sure was upset.  I guess now he knows what being (or looking) middle Eastern feels like.

Also, ignoring the entire first half of the argument Don made is a shitty thing to do.

Finally: we all know the Republican party has swapped platforms in the last 100 or so years.

The dems still are pro slavery though. It's just a different race now. They want all the peasants from South America to work their fields for peanuts an hour because lets face it, what else can the undocumented immigrants do to earn some coin? So be deliberately lax on your border control and get those poor hombres in your fields!!
