The classic reborn. Post pictures of your desktops and/or smartphone homescreens.

Kicking it off with some fresh rice:

Parsifal is abusing his mod powers. How do I get that sexy home screen? Are you using a launcher or something?

Literally Hitler, coup, etc.

Yes, I'm using Nova Launcher. The other stuff you see there is Lucent and Tiny White icons, DashClock, Poweramp widget, Simple RSS Widget, and Jorte calendar.

What's the music player you're using in the first one?
There are cigarettes in joints. You don't smoke it by itself.

Well, let's see now...

>icons obstructing wallpaper - This is a working desktop, I drop and organise files here before moving them to their more permanant homes.
>taskbar on top - What's wrong with he taskbar on top?
>default theme - As customised as a work computer can be
>microsoft office - Works standard, I've given a presentation at work arguing to use free software but to no avail.
>adobe reader - Again, works standard.
>quicktime player - Again, works standard.

I personally like to just jam the mouse cursor up the corner of the screen and click to close a window. With the taskbar on top, I'd have to pay attention where the mouse cursor is before I click, or I'd end up clicking the taskbar. Also, it looks terrible.

You can't use classic theme? You have to use this awful looking bloated abomination?

If your desk is set up correctly, your eye level should be at the top of your screen as it creates less stress on the neck and spine. I like to keep a track of open programs and the time.

Also, it looks better than having wasted space at the top and bottom of the screen.

I like it, apart from the overly large start button. I've made the buttons and icons small and the bars are transparent so it's not as intrusive as the classic theme.

Define unneccesary - it looks nicer than without and doesn't seem to slow the computer down by any appreciable margin.
