More piano. One of these days I'm actually going to compose something substantial again...

You should compose a 12 hour long rock opera with biting political commentary and at least 9 instruments next.

It's the penultimate Wednesday! It's a super short article, and I inserted it here since both the previous and next article run 3500+ words. The subject is companion characters and related content, mechanics etc. A little more gamey than lorey, but still a fair mix.
I like the title. I love me some jolly coorporation

Howl's Moving Castle (Hayao Miyazaki, 2004)

Surely two Ghibli movies in a row won't make me sob like a baby? Surely, as a functional adult, now that I know what to expect from them, I should be able to make it to the end of one with a dry face, right? THINK AGAIN, APPARENTLY. MY EYES ARE WATERFALLS.
I feel your pain.

Anyway, I've decided to buy another switch for the better half so we can play Splatoon and Mario kart.
you don't need another switch for mario kart. You can ech just use a single joy-con

Ok,

I got the switch yesterday and started BOTW tonight,
Chews out the battery pretty quick, will need a power pack or another charger.
Loving the game so far, baked me some apples and clubbed some blubbery things.
The screens a lot smaller than I thought, but you don't notice it when immersed in these worlds.
Feels great in the hand, not too heavy, nice piece of kit...
You should grab a few weapons, and then rush straight to Hyrule Castle. Don't worry, it's not like there's a boss rush of all of the undefeated bosses from the divine beasts or anything.......

half the universe.
Like Marvel would do that. He'll probably just kill off some characters, destroy a few cities, and then be heroically defeated by a ragtag group of Avengers. It's hard to further your massive cash cow if you just killed off everyone in it.

Anyone hit the high Sea of Thieves yet?
Watched some gameplay last night, looks fantastic, almost got seasick.

Looks fun. There doesn't seem to be a meaningful progression system, however.

I agree with the Flat-Coin Memester.

And if it does have a $60 price tag, can we get a discount? :-B

We made the mistake of trying to be nice to him early on. Turns out he thinks we're part of the conspiracy, and made it clear in no uncertain terms that he'll be hostile towards us unless we hand the entire society over to him.
Does anyone have the e-mail in which he said this? Sounds like an interesting read.

But Injustice 2 takes place entirely within the alternate universe.
But there's still the Lex Luthor from the original universe. And if there is the alternate universe, who's to say there isn't more universes?

Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe

A mediocre game with lame, toothless finishers. The Injustice games have done a much better job of depicting savage brutality while working within the constraints of a T rating. And on a related note, dialogue from Sub-Zero and Raiden in Injustice 2 references Dark Kahn and meeting the DC heroes before, suggesting that MK vs DC is canon to the Injustice series. But that can't be true, because the Lex Luthor of that game was his classic scheming self, while the Injustice Luthor was a good man and Superman's best friend. Weird, but it was probably just meant as a fun little reference, nothing more.

This will not happen. She'll drop the project because of "creative differences" or something like that in a few months.
The Lex who was Superman's friend was the Lex from the alternate universe in Injustice 1, the 'original' universe Lex still hates Superman so it could be canon.

I think that's a bit of a exaggeration, it's impossible for anyone to agree with saddam.

I got caught on video being a dick to some streamer:

I shoot all the engines off his Cutlass then just fly away.
That's a nice meme. Also, don't be a dick.

Well, Rex Tillerson is out.
Being replaced by the CIA head (cause that isn't concerning...)
CIA head being replaced by sitting senator.  Yet another race!
What I don't get is why would you be firing people when you have 250 unfilled positions? Isn't that counter-intuitive? RIP American democracy, press F to pay respects.
